What's Nearby:
Additional Location Information
Carriacou is situated in the Eastern Caribbean, 12° north of the equator (therefore outside of the hurricane belt). The island is approximately 20 miles from Grenada and part of the tri-island state of Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique.
The main village, Hilsborough, is located 5 minutes by car from "La Pagerie" and features groceries, a fish market (proposing fresh lobsters during the season), a gourmet shop and service (Patty's Deli on Main Street), and local art shops.
Carriacou has its own small airport named Lauriston, unable to accommodate heavy bodied aircraft (which land on the neighboring island of Grenada), and is therefore closed to mass tourism, leaving the island for the “happy few”. Still Lauriston runway is just long enough to allow for business jets to land from all over the World.
From Pointe Saline international airport (AOCI code GND) in Grenada, SVG Air offers daily service to Carriacou Lauriston airport.
You may order your own charter flight with SVG Air through "La Pagerie" at a special discounted fare (at the time that you book your stay), allowing you to continue immediately to Carriacou (rather than stopping in Grenada for a night) as soon as your international flight has landed in Grenada.

Rio de Janeiro BrazilA taste of paradise
Left on 03/11/2013 for a stay in January 2013
I spent two wonderful weeks at La Pagerie on the tiny island of Carriacou, coming from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: useless to stay that I was going to be demanding!Well, I was happily surprised indeed:A delicious colonial villa with varandahs all around providing a most agreeable shade and a splendid view on Sparrow Bay and the Caribbean sea.
I loved my bedroom named"nutmeg", so large and well ventilated with three windows, one facing the sea, two viewing a colored park with old trees. The pool is not very large, more a social pool than a swimming pool, but the sea is only 50ft away(the beach deck is great, with a most appreciated shower)...Champagne by the pool(or in the pool) at sunset is Paradise! -

I spent with my boyfriend two delicious weeks at La Pagerie and we just loved the relaxed atmosphere and natural luxury. The sea view is marvelous, with green mountains curving along, continued by small islands. The beach cove is small, meaning quiet and was just for us! We loved to sit on beach deck. The sunset there is breathtaking. The villa itself is colonial style, new and spacious so that next time we could invite some friends to have a glass of Champagne in the infinity pool, facing the sea. We love diving and fishing..
Would love to return again

RomeCaribbean Splendor: exclusive, stylish, relaxing,… a place to m
Left on 10/29/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We have recently spent a couple of lovely weeks at la Pagerie. There were 10 of us.
The place was just stunning , much more than what we originally though. From the warm welcome at the jetty, the first sight of the villa and the sea right behind it,.. champagne to greet us, the discovery of the large in suite-bedrooms.
The beach is small, but for us alone, with the coral reef on both sides. The shower beach on the deck is deliciously practical. The gorgeous sailing around, a bit of scuba diving too! And the sunsets, seeping our cocktails and chatting... The relaxing atmosphere and exclusive comfort made of this holiday a dream coming through. The service was 5 starts. We had a great time all together . We will definitively recommend this incredible place for vacation. These two weeks flew! Here we are, back at the jetty, with regrets, and a promise: We shall return.

LuxembourgWonderful experience
Left on 09/14/2012 for a stay in August 2012
We spent a week last august in la Pagerie and had a wonderful experience. The brand-new house has been built with high-quality materials and exudes authentic luxury, especially thanks to a colonial feel that inspired the whole interior decor and the wonderful deck. The open floor plan, in particular with the open kitchen makes the whole experience casual and family-friendly. The space is extremely generous and 10 people can easily fit without any promiscuity issues. Each room is big with its own bathroom and storage and open on the outside with breath-taking sea-views from almost everywhere in the house. And for the busy vacationers, the Wifi access has proven to be perfectly working. In a nutshell: La Pagerie offers an exotic, sophisticated yet practical experience for a very reasonable price for 10 people.

Minneapolis, MinnesotaLa Pagerie : Simply amazing
Left on 09/08/2012 for a stay in August 2012
My wife and I have just returned from two weeks at La Pagerie: We had an amazing holiday, with one regret: That it went by way too fast!
We did have some concerns about the weather since we booked during the wet season (which starts in July and ends in November). But we had sun almost every day, and actually enjoyed the rain showers which were intense but brief.
The villa was spacious and nicely furnished, with a large sundeck around an infinity pool, facing the west, which gave us some beautiful sunsets. All of the bedrooms were very nice with 2 or more windows in each of them. We slept in the Nutmeg bedrooms which we found had a great view and a nice evening breeze.
There is an amazing little cove with a beach, which we had to ourselves most of the time, except during the evening when we shared it with a couple of fishermen. The bay there was great for snorkeling. there was lots of tropical fish, and I even saw some lobsters not far from the shore
Overall we found the island to be gorgeous, with sand beaches that are out of this world! The beach cafes shaded by almond and coconut trees, provide a great place to stop and have a ice cold beer. Delicious!

LondonIdyllic fantastic family get away
Left on 06/14/2012 for a stay in January 2012
My wife found the property advertised on the internet and to be honest I was a little sceptical about the property, but I must say when I saw the property these ideas were quickly reversed, this property is just simply fantastic!.
The property is approached via a private gated drive winding its way down through a wood. As you pass the last bend you are greeted by a beautiful large plantation house nestled in the midst of its own private park commanding an amazing view overlooking the sea.
My young children where squealing with delight as they raced across the decking to discover the swimming pool over looking the sea. Settling in was very easy being met by the house keeper who showed us around. We where all delighted with the house in particular my children loved their rooms which included cots for them.
The house keeper was excellent at looking after us and provided us with many delicious and plentiful meals, as well as tips on what to do and places to visit. There are many beautiful beaches near by to discover as well as snorkelling and just swimming in the beautiful warm turquoise sea.
We have lots of photos and many happy memories of our beautiful holiday here at La Pagerie.
We wanted a luxurious relaxing get away from it all holiday and that is exactly what we got lacking nothing. The house is exceptionally well appointed leaving you wanting for nothing.
We will defiantly be returning to resume our beautiful holiday -

A perfect stereotype of what you are expecting in respect of a break away from it all on a remote carribean island.
A typical west indian atmosphere under an exotic climate, a pleasant degree of luxury and peace & quiet with a genuine touch of local animation. Beautiful sea, white beaches and colourful vegetation. Paradise, is an adequate word for the setting of this very well kept and designed property.

CannesAn idyllic stay
Left on 05/14/2012 for a stay in January 2012
My boyfriend wanted to try something out of the box and well I am more of an all-you-can-eat person when it comes to holidays, I just want to land and within the next minute be in a massive Shangri-la hotel next to the pool.
I was not sure about this as you need to get on a small airplane to arrive on an unknown island but dear God once you arrive there you never want to leave ! The villa itself is more luxurious than the best 5 star hotel I've been with all the mod cons (Massive plasma TV...) and plenty of room for your clothes.
The location is also a key reason why it made our trip unforgettable : There is no mass tourism there : There is neither nearby international airport (Only a local one) nor massive seaport, so you won't be perceived as a walking dollar for the locals and that's highly appreciated as I've been wandering for the past 30 years in the Caribbean and such places are really getting hard to find.
We have already booked another stay and we'll bring all our friends as it can accommodate more than 10 people ! Look no further you dream villa in the Caribbean is just there (Oh and the couple managing the villa is incredibly helpful and sweet)!! -
