This stunning headland home offers privacy, comfort and spectacular views from every aspect. A place to escape is something we all dream about ..................a place of peace and privacy to soothe you a beautiful view to enjoy by day and night spacious and comfortable surroundings to relax in a piece of paradise. Set on the headland overlooking Hillsborough Bay, Indigo has stunning, uninterrupted views of turquoise seas, out islands and sailing boats coming and going into the town about a mile and a half to the south. The house has been carefully designed and situated to take full advantage of this beautiful panorama from every part of the... property without compromising on privacy. Set in over ¾ of an acre of gardens at the very edge of an old lime plantation, Indigo has the advantage of being secluded while remaining within easy reach of the main road and amenities of the island. A gently sloping path leads through the garden and part of the estate to the delightful swimming/snorkeling cove known as Tom’s Bay.

The emphasis on providing privacy and space for everyone staying at Indigo is clearly reflected in the spaciousness of the accommodation and the large amount of outdoor living room which is an especially lovely feature of the property. There are an abundance of places to sunbathe, congregate for meals and drinks or to quietly enjoy a space of your own at any time of the day or night.

The main house is open plan and airy with dining and lounging areas adjacent to a generously proportioned and very well equipped kitchen. Sliding glass panels, big picture windows provide wonderful views from every angle and the high, lime washed ceilings enhance the overall effect of light and space.

The master bedroom is in the main body of the house while the guest bedroom is set across the main deck. Both bedrooms are tastefully furnished and here the views out to sea can be enjoyed from the large four poster beds or the private terraces adjoining each room. Both have en-suite facilities and the guest bedroom is provided with it’s own kitchenette.

The pool is L-shaped and at it’s longest is 20 feet. It is deliberately set lower than the main deck to offer additional privacy and is a great place to cool off and enjoy the sunshine and the moonlight or even get in a few laps if the mood takes you.

Indigo has the advantage of being fully screened and air conditioned throughout. It is equipped and furnished to a very high standard with most of the furniture having been custom made from local white cedar. The overall intention is to provide a tasteful, well appointed home in which to rest and relax in peace and comfort. Indigo certainly achieves this and much, much more……....

  We have been coming to Carriacou since 2004. I believe that we found Indigo in 2007. As always Down Island and Carolyn are very accommodating. Linky is there waiting upon our arrival to be sure that we have transportation to our villa.
  The house is perfect in every way. The location is very secluded and private. The sea is viewable from every living area of the house. Each year we return to find something new and could not be happier than when we are staying at Indigo. We find it to be so very comfortable when we are here. We love to cook in the well equipped kitchen. With the view of the sea only feet away, cooking is a luxury. Friends at home can not believe that we cook on our vacation. We just love it and look forward to our time together in the kitchen.
  The pool is very refreshing, especially after early morning walks. The gardens are breathtaking and we just love to return each time to see what has been added.
  Our stays at Indigo have been very memorable. We have enjoyed and embraced it each and every time. We are now returning to Carraiocu twice a year.
  I think what we like best about Indigo is that it is very comfortable. I would have to say that the least thing that I like is that there is not an outside shower with hot water. However, that would never stop us from staying at Indigo!!!

  We have stayed at Indigo many times. We love it. It is comfortably furnished. The view is great. The management service is simply spectacular. We return to Carriacou every year, and Indigo is our first choice of a place to stay.
