Las Tortugas is perched on a breezy hillside on the Grenadine island of Carriacou, 20 miles north of Grenada. There are two air conditioned master bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a double bed in the loft and a games room with two divans and a third full bathroom downstairs. The views from the veranda are unsurpassed, and look out over a turquoise ocean at six islands, three of which are uninhabited, A path from the garden leads to the famous mile-long Paradise Beach and should you want to snorkel, there is a reef, which you can check out from the veranda.

Las Tortugas Villa is situated on the island of Carriacou, 20 miles north of Grenada, in the Grenadines. The house overlooks the famous Paradise Beach with white sand and clear calm water. It is 5 kilometers from the town of Hillsborough. Another couple and my family and I stayed at Las Tortugas in December it was the most beautiful and amazing trip. We loved the views. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. We had use of the car to drive into town or go out for dinner. The private beach was awesome. We took a walk down the beach and enjoyed a cold drink in a cute little beach bar. However cooling off in the infinity pool with a glass of wine was my favorite way of spending the day. There are two master bedrooms one on either end of the house with its own on suite. There was also a double bed in the loft space. Downstairs there were built in couches and a ping pong table which was fun.

In November 2010 we spent an idyllic week in Las Tortugas. The villa is finished to a very high standard and is spacious and very comfortable. Nothing however, comes close to the early morning views over Paradise beach except maybe watching the sun setting by the infinity pool. Watching the little boats sail on the azure waters of the marine reserve or taking a lazy stroll along the beach with is colourful bars and fishing boats was all we needed to confirm we were in a little piece of heaven.

Having enjoyed spending time in the Virgin Islands, Las Tortugas was our first destination to the Eastern Caribbean. We were certainly not disappointed! Far from the hustle and bustle that accompanies many tourist destinations, Carriacou offered our family of five a quiet, laid-back location to enjoy a wonderful holiday.
The villa is in an awesome, private location with direct beach access. The children enjoyed great snorkeling adventures right outside the door of our accommodations. When not enjoying the beautiful ocean waters, the fresh water pool provided wonderful refreshment.
The quiet island made for beautiful evenings on the veranda. As a fully furnished home, Las Tortugas offers all of the comforts you could imagine. Meal preparation was a joy in the modern and spacious kitchen.
Dining options and provisioning are conveniently available with a short drive to Hillsborough or Tyrell Bay. While a wonderful bakery is right in the L'Esterre neighborhood.
The villa staff live nearby and were absolutely gracious, kind, and helpful. We felt like family right from the start. They were there to assist us with any need, and helped to make our stay trouble-free.
With two large suites and a comfortable loft, Las Tortugas provided our family with restful comfort each night. The decor is wonderfully Caribbean, and the furniture invites you to relax.
We stayed at Las Tortugas for ten days, and fell in love with the island and its people. It's difficult to believe that there is a more perfect place to lime-away the day.
