Luis has a wonderful apartment in the lively Boca Grande neighborhood. The apartment lives up to its pictures and has all of the modern conveneiences that you need for your stay. Banks, bars, restaurants,and supermarkets are all steps away from the location. Beautiful sunsets can be seen daily from the balcony and the 4th floor makes it easy to get to the lobby in a dash. Very little English is spoken by the staff but everyone makes and effort to accommodate you. Luis is easly reachable via internet and tries his best to rectify any problems with the apartment. There was a brief blackout in the city and our cable and internet went out for three days so we were a bit out of touch. Still Luis made every effort to make sure we were taken care of. There was a bit of a language barrier but it all worked out in the end.

This apartment was in a beautiful building across from the beach in Boca Grande. It is secured by 24 hour security and convenient to walk or take a short cab ride to the walled city of Cartagena. The resort area offers restaurants and a grocery store not too far away for meals and for purchasing supplies. The apartment has a wonderful view, well equipped kitchen and air conditioned rooms making it comfortable for sleeping. We had a wonderful time there and would definitely recommend renting this apartment. Luis made payment easy using Paypal and someone met us there upon our arrival with a key to the apartment. It was seamless! Thank you, Luis!

There is nothing bad about this apartment... Everything is great, wonderful location, easy check in/out... The apt is up to date! The beach breeze cools the apt so you don't even need a/C . The pool his clean and beautiful beachfront which is opened from 9am-7pm, close to many restaurants, shops, banks and walking distance from the walled city.
Luis Galvis is always in contact with you so if you have any problems or questions, he is available at all times. Highly recommended - can't wait to go back !
One thing I didn't know about, there is a 20,000 peso one time flat fee at check-in ... that's about $11 or $12 USD

We had plans to stay here and had got what I thought was an email from Luis asking for money. It ended up it was spam and he reassured me and offered to refund my deposit. Instead of a refund, I decided to go ahead with the rental due to the great price for what appeared a really nice apartment, judging by the pictures. Unfortunately, I left a review that was not favorable describing the incident, instead of contacting him.
I am so glad that we stayed in his apartment. The location is wonderful. We could walk to just about everywhere except the old city and that was only 5000 CP. This is the minimum to rent a taxi. We walked to restaurants, casinos, grocery stores. There is a grocery only a five minute walk away. Another grocery was about a 20 minute walk. I didn't mind that because I just wanted to see the area.
The apartment was very nice. There are 2 balconies, one in the front of the apartment and one in the back of the apartment. Both with seating areas and having different views. The apartment is very attractive and well equipped. The pictures are very accurate as far as the furnishings.

This was my first time to Cartagena and I had a great time. The condo was in the perfect location. Not in a real congested place, but within walking distance to everything in Boca Grande. The beach being across the road was a plus and if you got tired of that there was a wonderful pool in the complex.
If you wanted to explore the central city it was a 10 min. taxi ride or less from the complex entrance.
When we were there, in the condo it was very calm and the other people there were very friendly. Being my first time in Colombia I was a little worried about security, but there was fulltime security at the building entrance.
