This unique house combines the antique colonial-style of high ceilings, exposed brick walls, beautiful tiling and arches with the modern amenities and style of a boutique hotel. The common areas are airy and open while the four bedrooms provide privacy and a cool retreat from the hot Cartagena days. When you do want to leave the house, many restaurants and much of the best nightlife in downtown Cartagena is on Calle Arsenal a few blocks away. The famous clock tower and historic muralla, the wall surrounding the city center, are a ten minute walk away.

The house revolves around the elegant pool stretching the length of the property. In t...he entry area the spacious, full-equipped kitchen opens to the pool area. Opening off of this entry area is the huge dining room with a long table that can accommodate the whole group with room to spare. Open the windows to the street while enjoying group dinners to hear the sounds of Cartagena in the evening. All four bedrooms open onto the pool area and all feature locks on the doors, en suite bathrooms, flat-screen televisions, air-conditioning and safe boxes. The custom lighting shows off the elegant high ceilings and tile detailing.

along some unpleasant developments such as pushy street vendors and tourist trap
restaurants as well as positive ones such as the renovation of amazing colonial homes
and the appearance of upscale boutique hotels such as Hotel Agua. The brightly-painted façades, wooden balconies overflowing
with flowers and interior courtyards make Cartagena one of the most beautiful cities in
Latin America.
