Being located on the tip of Lake Windermere Cartmel, Hawkshead and Coniston are all within easy reach as is Bowness and Ambleside.

Miller Beck is located within 1.5 miles of

the hamlet of Lakeside with pub and the renowned Aquarium of the Lak...es and

Lakeside to Haverthwaite Steam Railway.

The property has easy access to Cartmel, 5 miles, and the southern lakes

are within a 20 minute leisurely drive, follow the west side of the lake and it

will lead you to Hawkshead, Grisedale Forest, Coniston and Sawrey, the former

home of Beatrix Potter.

The house has recently been extended and

upgraded to a luxuriously appointed property which has been imaginatively

  Ok cottage, large but odd layout. The en suite bathrooms are open plan and therefore not suitable unless you are sharing a room with a partner. Kitchen equipment limited. Nice location.
