Casa Bermeja is a traditional 100-year-old stone farm cottage that has been lovingly restored retaining many original features such as seasoned chestnut beams and a cosy open fireplace. Designed as a romantic and stylish retreat for couples it has a king size double bed and lovely handmade Ronda furniture in the open plan living/sleeping suite.
An antique arched door leads to the bathroom attractively decorated with hand painted tiles from Seville, while a second archway leads to a compact and well-equipped kitchen.

Casa Bermeja is located in a glorious 12-acre mountain estate that boasts magnificent forests of cork oak, pine and chestnut, hilly meadows, delightful gardens and a lovely private swimming pool. It is just 3 kms from the picturesque "white village" of Casares where you can find small shops ,bars and restaurants.
There are great walks straight out the front gate into the spectacular scenery of the Natural Park where the hills are swathed with wild flowers and eagles fly overhead. You may also, glimpse an ibex or a deer and enjoy the stunning views down the valley to the Straits of Gibraltar and N.Africa. Although , many guests just choose to laze by the azure pool soaking up the peace and sunshine in the rose-scented gardens.
Venturing further afield , the legendary cities of Ronda, Jerez, Seville and Granada are all reachable as fasciniating day trips. And if you fancy a bit of the high life-the malls, shops and restaurants of Marbella are a 40 minutes drive. Or visit cosmopolitan Gibraltar or even a day trip to exotic Tangier! Riding,golf and all kinds of watersports are nearby too .The nearest beach Bahia de Casares is 18kms away.
