River View Guest House is a vacation rental house for fly fisherman, located between Wolf Creek and Cascade, just north Of Craig, Montana. Over looking the Missouri River and Mid Cannon boat launch. This 2 story vacation house gives you easy access to some of the best fly fishing on the river. One of the few vacation homes near Craig, Mt. that can accommodate 8 people, this 2000 square foot house has 4 bedrooms. There are 2 beds in each room and 2 full baths. Situated on 9 acres and overlooking the Missouri River it is quiet and private. The 150 foot wrap around deck has great views of the river and surrounding mountains. After a day of dry f...ly fishing the Missouri River, it makes the perfect place to relax "Montana Style"....BBQ a steak..enjoy a cold beverage...swap the days fly fishing stories with your friends.

Don't need the whole house?

Rent the lower level for $150.. Enjoy the same great views Of the Missouri River from the ground level. Relax at the picnic table with a cold drink and watch the deer come into the yard to feed. The lower level of River View Guest House does not have a full kitchen, But it does have all the makings for a good BBQ. Picinic table, a BBQ grill with a side gas burner, microwave, small refrigerator, cook ware and plates. The dining area has seating for 4. Enjoy a thick Montana steak, play cards or tie up some more dry flies for those big Missouri River rainbow trout.

Rent the upper level for $250

The upper level of this vacation house has a large, eat in kitchen. It is fully equipped with everything you need to put togeather a meal after a day of fly fishing on the Missouri River. The kitchen table can seat 8. But you will probably prefer to sit on the deck and enjoy the view. The adjoining living room is furnished with a sofa, chair and a desk for tying flies. After dinner, sit back, relax and enjoy satellite TV or select a movie.

If this house could talk... The stories it could tell. For 10 years I lived in the upper level, rented the lower level to anglers and guided fly fisherman for trout on the Missouri River. In years past River View Guest House was known up and down the Missouri River as "Camp Misfit". Trout bums, guides, outfitters and other riff raff gathered here on the deck. Stories were swapped. Flies, insects and techniches were discussed. Countless late night BBQs, also some how large quanities of alcohol were consumed in the process.. I hope you have as much fun on the deck as I have over the years.

From Great Falls drive south 45 miles to the Dearbourne exit (exit 240). Turn left at the stop sign. Take Cooper Drive 1/2 mile..left on Scenic Valley Lane. Go 100 yards and turn right at the drive way with the 8 foot trout on the fence.

  Great place to kickback and relax after a day of fishing, hiking or biking. Large wraparound porch offers spectacular views of the mountains and Missouri River. Unwind, have a cocktail, barbeque on the grill and share stories of your adventurous day. Very tranquil, often see deer roaming through the yard. Comfortable and clean with all the amenities of home.   This house is a spectacular place to stay in Montana. Located near the interstate but isolated enough to feel like your staying in the mountains of Montana. We often woke up to Mule Deer grazing out the door. Very clean and comfortable.
