This is a brilliant location to explore Lisbon and enjoy the beautiful and largely unspoilt resorts of Estoril and Cascais. An extremely comfortable and well appointed apartment it is within very easy walking distance of beaches, bars and restaurants. It is also five minutes from the efficient, inexpensive and frequent train service to Lisbon. As the trains run late into the night it is easy to enjoy this superb city. Local buses are also nearby for trips to Sintra and the West Coast. If you like walking and/or running then join the numerous locals exercising along the promenade between Estoril and Cascais. A major plus is the great value food and drink to be had, particularly as you will probably want to eat out every night. The coffee is quite outstanding (with local cakes!) The apartment is really only large enough for a couple but, if you want a great holiday spot that's excellent value and run by extremely helpful and friendly people, then this is ideal.

The apartment was spacious and completely adequate for two to three people. There was unlimited linen. It has direct access to the beach and five minutes from the centre of Estoril and the station. The owners were most welcoming and always available and extremely helpfully. We would highly recommend it.

We liked it very much. It is pretty close to the beach, clean, nicely furnished and the owner really likeable. We enjoyed very much our dinners on the balcony viewing the ocean. The only "but" could be that there is no shop or cafeteria very close, you can not just drop down and up again. Another advantage was the close train station with connections to Cascais or Lisbon every 20 minutes. The noice of the train did not really disturb us.

The apartment was extremely clean, well furnished and well equipped. My boyfriend and I decided to stay in Estoril as opposed to Cascais since it was so near yet seemed a little quieter.
The flat had a great view of the sea. 5 mins to a nice beach, a deli, the casino and the train station which was good and bad since there were rumbles in the flat when a train went by.
Apart from that we loved our stay. The owner was so welcoming and helpful and it was so nice to stay in a beautiful place.Response from WhereTo Stay - 09/20/2010

This apartment is a short walk to the beach, restaurants, casino and public transport. It was very clean and easy to live in. We enjoyed being able to sit on the balcony for breakfast and a glass of wine in the evening.
Lots of good places to eat nearby.
Train runs behind the apartment but the sound of this did not bother us at all.
Good bus service to the palaces of Sintra, excellent train service to Cascais and Lisbon. -

clean, 1 minute walk to the beach, close parking, what more could you ask for. the host was very friendly and flexible in regards to dropping off and picking up keys...apt was very clean and well equipped.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights with our baby daughter. The apartment was great, spacious, clean and well equipped. The location was fantastic, just a couple of minutes from both the beach and the train station.Both check in and check out were made easy for us and we were given every assistance to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We had a great time and I would highly recommend this apartment. Just one small detail to be aware of- the apartment is on the second floor and there is no lift.
