Four Bedroom Villa Casole d?Elsa

Villa Casole d?Elsa is one half of a lovely country house surrounded by unspoilt countryside and with stunning views of the rolling hills. The villa opens onto a pretty patio and garden and on the first floor there are two large terraces enjoying the unspoilt panorama. In the grounds below the villa in a sunny position is a private swimming pool with hydro massage corner.

Villa Casole d? Elsa is actually cleverly divided into two interconnecting apartments, therefore ideal for larger parties whilst still retaining privacy. Nicely furnished in characteristic Tuscan style the accommodation is on... two floors. The ground floor consists of a living room with settee, fireplace, kitchen area with dining table and chairs, and a shower w/c. Steps leads to the first floor where there are two double bedrooms, a further shower room and a large terrace with fantastic views of the countryside and swimming pool. From the first floor a doorway interconnects to the second apartment, which can also be reached separately via a staircase at the front of the house. This consists of a further living room with settee (which can convert to a bed on request), fireplace, and kitchen area with dining table and chairs which opens onto a large terrace. This lovely terrace has lovely views of the countryside and is furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco. On the same floor are two more pretty bedrooms, one with double bed and one with two single beds, and two shower rooms.

In front of the villa is a patio and garden area which is furnished with table and chairs for dining al fresco. There is a barbecue for guests use and a pretty swimming pool (10m x 5m) with hydro massage corner and surrounded by lawns is in a sunny position below the house. The grounds of the villa are fully enclosed and there is private parking close to the villa.

The little medieval town of Casole d?Elsa is only 2.5 km away and joy to explore. It has a selection of bars, restaurants, local shops and a small supermarket. Other sights such as San Gimignano, Florence, and Siena to name but a few of the beautiful towns of Tuscany are all within easy driving distance.

The Villa Casole d?Elsa is one half of a country house, the other half of the house is reserved for the use of the local owner and his family, who also occasionally use the swimming pool.

  We chose villa Casole d'Elsa because we wished to be in the countryside yet not too isolated. Close enough to a local village with amenities. The agency La Bella Toscana was very patient with our many questions and provided a very professional service throughout the booking process. Travelling with extended family the villa was perfect as divided into two connecting halves, so lots of room to be together but plenty of space to be apart too. The pool is in a lovely sunny position, and we had it to ourselves, even though we were expecting the owners to use it occasionally as they also live in a different part on the property but they never did. When we did see them they were very friendly and nice. We used the garden patio and first floor terrace a lot for eating out. The front garden is handily near the barbeque area, and the other terrace is large and has great views over the countryside. We did a lot of walking as the area was so beautiful, even walking into town on a few occasions as it was so pleasant. We are all in love with Casole d'Elsa. Just big enough to have all the facilities you need. Really well kept and quaint and with a good selection of places to eat out. The villa itself was nicely fitted out, well equipped and comfortable, having two kitchen areas was a bonus too. We would definately return. We had to contact La Bella Toscana during our stay due to a little problem with our hire car, they liased with the local garage to overcome the language problem, which helped greatly; even though it was not an actual villa problem they were very helpful and polite.
