The Castle of Cabbiavoli, perched atop a hill, has been completely restored whilst maintaining the spirit and atmosphere of a noble mansion. It can easily accommodate 12 people in luxurious comfort. The beautifully maintained grounds include a large courtyard, lawn area, patio area, and a sun-room next to the 13th century chapel. The pool is located on the terraced hillside just below the courtyard.

Cabbiavoli is located 3 km far from Castelfiorentino, province of Florence. The nearest airports are: Florence Airport – Amerigo Vespucci: 30 km and Pisa Airport – Galileo Galilei: 49 km. In Castelfiorentino there is a train station that connects Florence every 50 minutes and Pisa every hour.
Castelfiorentino is a small little town south of Empoli, Lucca, Pistoia and Florence. If you are just looking to head out of the heavier tourist areas and just want a little taste of Tuscany vera, then you should head into this area and admire not only the little town that can claim Roman origins, but was in the Middle Ages of strategic importance between the Holy Roman Empire and the Papacy. Probably best known artistically for its frescoes by Gozzoli, which are on display on the top floor of the Biblioteca Comunale (the local library). You can also walk around the Castello, or what we would call the historic centre. Located just a little further off from the city center is Santa Veridiana, a Baroque church which houses a little museum including artwork from nearby churches including the workd of Duccio di Buoninsegna (famous in Siena), Taddeo Gaddi (one of Giottos most faithful students with artwork in Florence and Poppi) and Gozzoli .
In Certaldo during the month of June there is a huge arts festival. Street artists, musicians, crafts and more. This year there was a spectacular show on dancer's on the wall of the city. Breath-taking!
