The residence is ideal for families and nature lovers.

Accommodation and facilities

Located between Bordeaux and Toulouse, easy to access, Casteljaloux is nestled amongst the pine trees, right at the heart of Lot et Garonne, and benefits of 2 major assets: it is close by the Clarens Lake, boarding a 17 hectare water place with fine sandy beaches and offering several s...port and leisure activities (golf, horse-riding centre, canoe, sailing), and it has thermal springs which have allowed the realisation of Casteljaloux thermal baths, modern establishment of good standing offering therapies, and a beauty institute. This city widely dedicated to tourism, has more than 100 shops and 3 supermarkets opened all year long.

The 3*** residence ?Les demeures du Lac? is located directly beside Casteljaloux Lake Clarens, nestled in a 130 hectare forest in eastern Aquitaine. All of the accommodations are within a short walk of the lake?s natural beautiful sandy beach. The beach is accessible without crossing a road which is ideal with young children. The residence offers an outdoor heated pool with paddling pool (open weather permitting from April to September) and a solarium. You will also find a children?s play area, a volley-ball ground and a boules pitch. All guests at the residence can walk to the nearby activities park where they will find a restaurant, tennis courts, a treetop adventure park and a large water slide and swimming pool. The Spa Centre ?les Bains de Casteljaloux? is 5 minute drive away, and near by are an 18 hole golf course with a restaurant, and a horse-riding school. The residence benefits from an environment suitable for walks and hiking with the numerous criss-crossing paths and tracks in the Landes forest.

On site you can hire bikes, and borrow board games from reception. WIFI access is available (with a supplement). In July and August you can participate in sport tournaments: volley ball, table tennis, badmington, petanque, and there are activities for children from 6 to 10 years old.

The residence consists of 2 storey individual local landaise style houses divided into apartments (from 2 to 4 units per house). All apartments are fully furnished, and include blankets and pillows. Some of them are suitable for disabled people.

Every apartment has a parking space reserved at the entrance of the residence (closed car park with an access code but not guarded).

We have selected 2 types of accommodation: the 1 bedroom apartments for 2 to 4 people (code 24J) and the 2 bedroom apartments for 4 to 6 people (code 36J), both on ground floor, with a terrace. There are also studio apartments for 3 people, and 4 person apartments on the upper floor with a balcony. Please ask us for details.

The description and prices shown here are for the 2 bedroom apartments (36J). The 2 bedroom apartments measure approximately 40m². There is a living room with double sofa bed and a dining area, 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, and 1 bathroom with a bath and separate toilet. The kitchen is equipped with hot plates, micro wave, fridge, dishwasher, and electric coffee machine. Every apartment has a 7m² terrace, with garden furniture. Please note that, for security reasons, this apartment can only accommodate a maximum of 6 people, and that a baby is considered as a person.
