These places, for their geographic position, equidistant from Trapani and Palermo, Is also an excellent points of departure for visits and trips in the most renowned locality of the West Sicily like: Palermo, Monreale, Agrigento, Selinunte, Marsala, Erice, Trapani and the Islands Egadi. Close to the house the are the small village of Scopello 5km which was developed around an old Baglio. It is possible to set out on a wide-ranging journey, visiting the old tonnara (tuna fish station), with its magnificent view on the cliffs, and then having a look at the pottery workshops.
The Country House is dotated of conforables rooms, carefully furnished, realised in order to cuddle our guests and make them appreciate the traditional sicilian ospitality.

We hebben in dit huis een goed verblijf gehad in de twee achtereenvolgende vakanties in april. Het is een echt familiehuis voor een gezin met 2 tot 4 kinderen. Er is een boomhut op het terrein met uitzicht op zee en het terrein is goed afgebakend voor kleine kinderen. Het ligt in de heuvels dicht bij het natuurgebied Zingaro waar je prachtig kan zwemmen en wandelen en is een goede uitvalsbasis voor een ontdekkingstocht in het Noorwesten van Sicilie. De steden Palermo en Monreale liggen op korter dan een uur rijden. De tempels van Segesta en Selinunte zijn goed te doen evenals agrigento. Kortom; als je niet gesteld bent op superdeluxe maar wel een goede en betaalbare vakantie wilt hebben is dit huis zeker een aanrader. Wij vlogen met Ryanair en huurden een kleine auto.
