This welcoming and original apartment is completely independent, and located in what were once the monks cells of a monastery dating back to the 1000s. The building later became the bishop of Siena's country residence, and most recently has been skillfully renovated and trasformed into a beautiful, imposing residence.
The lovely original Romanesque church and tower (the bell tower, which later became a watchtower during the war between the republics of Siena and Florence) still remain. The property owners live in the central part of the structure.
