Renovated to an excellent standard, Chateau Plombis offers you the space and modern comforts to relax and enjoy your holiday vacation in this beautiful 19th century chateau and its grounds. Situated just a short walk from the 13th century fortified village of Castelsagrat, with its epicerie, boulangerie and renowned restaurant/bar the Cafe du Siecle, the Chateau is yet peaceful and private. A private pool and hard tennis court, large modern kitchen and dining room, study, two spacious salons and a games room with traditional French billiards table, compliment the 8 bedrooms and six bathrooms to accommodate upto 19 adults and children. Wifi... internet connection is available throughout the ground floor, and with iTunes speakers and iPod docks, a Wii and Apple computer all available for the guests, the whole family can enjoy the holiday. Situated in beautiful countryside well-loved by walkers and cyclists, guests can delight in exploring the local farmers markets, historic sites and sporting activites of all kinds. All of the bedrooms are situated on the first floor, leading off the stunning central hallway. Five of the bedrooms have double beds and private en suite modern bathrooms with separate bath and shower, another offers one double bed with an additional single bed and is connected via the en suite bathroom to a further twin bedded room. The region's medieval heritage is visible everywhere; the countryside is full of chateaux and fortified villages, and Chateau Plombis is part of this beautiful heritage. The area is renowned for its Medieval Cloisters at Moissac, and the trails of St Jacques de Compostelle to inspire cyclists, horseriders and walkers. With the Canal des Deux Mers wending its way through the region, water activites abound from barge trips to sports lakes and a large water theme park for all ages.
Renowned for its farming, the region offers all year round enjoyment of local produce and gourmet dining - from the Truffle Markets to melons, wine production to fruits - the regional restaurants have an excellent reputation for offering local produce, from the simple village cafes to Michelin starred establishments.

Supplementary Services, such as Maid or Daily Cleaning, Chef and Shopping, Child care or baby-sitting, are available. Along with bicycle hire, airport transfers and transport, catering, and personalised requirements, these are all available on request in advance of your holiday.
End of Stay Cleaning is included (within reason!)
All prices are in Euros and are per week, Saturday to Saturday, arriving at 4pm departing at 10am.
A deposit of 30% is required by the Owner to confirm the booking.
The final balance is due 12 weeks before arrival, or on booking if within this period.

A damages deposit of 2500Euros is also required prior to the start of the booking period. This will be refunded in full after departure subject to damage inspection, any deductible extras, and in agreement with the lead guest.

Heating Charges in Winter Season ARE INCLUDED: there is no charge for central heating (underfloor, radiators or heated towel rails) from November 1st to March 1st for this. Heating outside of this period may be subject to a supplementary charge.

All linens and towels are included in the rental, along with tennis rackets and balls. Firewood is provided for your enjoyment of the large stone fireplaces. End of Stay Cleaning is included (within reason), as well as reasonable use of electricity, water, gas - confirmed at the accompanied obligatory Check-out.

Out of High and Peak Seasons, Chateau Plombis may be able to accommodate shorter breaks such as long weekends. These breaks are ideal for cycling, golfing, gourmet and wine tasting discovery trips, and fishing weekends. All these activities can be arranged locally.
In Low and Mid season, prices may be discounted for smaller groups. For further information, please enquire.

  My week vacation at the chateau is something I will never forget. It has been two years since I ha the pleasure of visiting but I still remember vividly the details of the beautiful home and surrounding area. Exploring the neighboring towns, romping through the fields of sunflowers, and cooling off in the pool are just a few of the things that can be done during the day. Fun days are following by special nights of star gazing, cooking family dinners, and relaxing by the fireplace.
