A large family or group of friends will be thrilled with the rental of this enchanting 19th century villa. It is situated close to the main square of Castiglioncello, which is a fashionable seaside resort on the Tuscan coast. It is very close to the beach and has its own private swimming pool so is perfect for working on a suntan, relaxing, and swimming. It is also close to Pisa and has many old villages along its coastal roads for daytrips. The climate is mild year round and views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and Elba Island are always spectacular.
(5,000 m2) This 19th century villa within a walled garden is immaculately landscaped with lots... of grass areas and nearly 40 palm trees. A long terrace runs along most of the length of the first floor and overlooks the private pool. The pool is 12 meters x 6 meters. It is equipped with lounger chairs as well as a built-in barbecue. Please be aware that noise from the town can sometimes travel up to the pool area. This villa is situated at the end of a street and parking is available within the property grounds.

The villa is nicely furnished with elegant yet comfortable sofas and chairs and lots of artwork. It is light filled and sea breezes come through the double doors that lead onto the large terrace. All of the bedrooms are equipped with large fans and have an intercom on the phone.
Ground Floor: The ground floor is equipped with two kitchens to serve the dining areas inside the villa and in the garden. One is fitted to professional standards and one more traditional kitchen is off the living room. The living room has a dining table. There is also a breakfast room that leads out to the paved terrace. There is one bedroom with a 180 cm king-sized bed. There are two bathrooms. The first bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower. The second bathroom has a sink, toilet, and tub.
First Floor: The main entry opens up into an elegant hall and reading room. There is also a sitting room and six bedrooms on this floor. The first bedroom has a 180 cm king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet, and shower. The second, third, fourth, and fifth bedrooms each have a 180 cm king-sized bed. The sixth bedroom has two 90 cm single beds. There are two more bathrooms. The first bathroom has a sink, toilet, and shower. The second bathroom has a sink, toilet, shower, and separate tub.
The town of Castiglioncello is located on the coast of the Tyrrhenian Sea and is at the base of the Livorno hills. The village has several shops and cafes and a nice beach area It is easy to walk to town. The sea is about 100 meters away. It is possible to walk to the beach by the house but it is at the bottom of a steep slope so is somewhat rigorous. There is a railway station for Pisa and Rome in Castiglioncello.

We loved our 2 weeks in Villa Castiglioncello. We were within easy walking distance of Castiglioncello and the beach. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable. Three repairs or adjustments were immediately attended to by the homeowners. A happy celebration of our anniversary.
