Amazing views, beautiful place to relax, lie by the pool, mountain biking/hiking, great food, local bar, huge eat in kitchen with a terrace all around the house, overlooking the valley. satellite TV, DVD, video and stereo. Spacious house, excellent for families or get together. Private house, private garden including a private swimming pool. The house is fully furnished and includes TV, video, satellite,DVD and wireless internet. Child friendly house and includes a ping pong table and badminton in the garage. The house has a fireplace for winter and is cool in summer. There is a downstairs bedroom very suitable for the elderly or for wheelchairs. The satellite has cartoon network and English,German,Dutch and French programmes. There is a separate shower and toilet near the pool. The pool is fenced off so safe for children. Items such as baby bed, play pen and high chair, fold out bed, gates can be used for the duration of your stay. Washing machine in the garage. It is a quiet area and the house has beautiful views over the vineyards. A car is necessary as you are located on a hill. Plenty of food shops all within a short drive.

Very efficient service. House was clean and comfortable and ideal for several families going on holiday together. For the food-lovers it couldn't be in a better region for wines and delicious local specialties. Our only negative comment would be that one needs to get in a car for every outing but with a pool just outside the window that didn't happen very often!

We stayed at Villa La Tana for two weeks in late april, early May, 2012. This is a perfect property for a couple or large family (5 bedrooms & 4 baths!) located on a hilltop overlooking the beautiful village of Castiglione Tinella. The villa is fully equipped and incredibly comfortable. We did not use the large in-ground swimming pool but we did make use of the kitchen which has every amenity needed for gourmet meal preparation. On a clear day the snow-covered distant alps are visible. The villa is literally surrounded by vineyards. Grocery shopping is a short drive to the town of Santo Stefano Belbo. The villa has a collection of brochures for local amenities as well as lists of things to do and places to eat. We counted 16 Michelin starred restaurants within an hours drive as well as plenty of lovely, less expensive local ristorantes. Of course a car is needed for your stay.
