This 18th Century, stone, terraced cottage is located in the village of Babcary near to Ilchester in Somerset and can sleep four people in two bedrooms. Woodforde Cottage is an 18th Century, stone terraced cottage in the Somerset village of Babcary. The cottage can sleep four people in one double bedroom and one twin with a family bathroom. The cottage also contains a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and an open fire. Outside the cottage is roadside parking and an enclosed garden. With the beautiful Somerset countryside close by, Woodforde Cottage is perfectly located for discovering this part of the country.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Great little cottage, close to pub (good food, poor choice of beer) and well located for a good variety of days out. Owners were flexible and accommodating, the booking process was easy and the cottage had everything we needed.

We found Babcary a great central point for visiting lots of places in Somerset, Dorset and eastern Devonshire. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. Kitchen and bath have been upgraded although a shower attachment in the bath would be nice. The village is very picturesque and quiet.
