Downhill Estate overlooks Castlerock and provides great walks to Mussenden Temple overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

On arrival received a very warm welcome, nice touch of welcome pack. House was excellent had everything we needed. Brilliant location - minutes walk from beautiful beach. Local butcher was very good as was the local coffee shop. Excellent communication from owner/housekeeper both before and after our stay - very helpful. Very enjoyable stay.

I wanted to treat my parents to a relaxing break by the sea and I could not have been happier with the accommodation and hospitality. The house is very spacious and comfortable and so near the shops and a short walk away from the stunning beach. Thanks again for a really lovely, relaxing holiday.

We have just returned home after spending five days in Castlerock. Even though the weather at the start of the week was not great we still had a great time as the location of the house meant we were very close to lots of amenities for families. We had a very warm welcome and given lots of helpful information regarding the area. The local coffee shop "Crusoes" is worth a visit and also The Willow Garden Tea Room in Downhill Forest is lovely especially if you get to meet the Peacocks. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend the house.

Excellent location so close to the town and yet very quiet. All the things you need for your holiday stay.
The welcome pack is a great idea. Sets you up after your journey.
We have holidayed in this area many times and we loved the beach and Musenden House.
Thwe house was home from home. I would certainly come back again.
