This vacation rental was a great deal. Three bedrooms and two baths great size for the price. Checking in and out was a breeze with friendly service. There were a couple negatives, the first being that the elevator was broken. Normally this wouldn't be a big deal except for the condo is up 78 stairs(we counted) and when your carrying a large heavy suitcase its not very pleasant. Also I had my parents with me who are older, so that was hard on them. I don't think there was any handicap access as far as I could tell, so something to keep in mind if that is something your looking for. There was a sign on the elevator indicating it had broke about 5 days prior, but didn't mention any plans of fixing it, and it surely didn't get fixed while we were there. The only other complaint that we had was the beds were not very comfortable, but I feel like thats probably a fairly common complaint when it comes to vacation rentals. Other than those things everything else was great, we had a lot of fun the property had a great view and plenty of space for 6 people. We would probably stay there again as long as the elevator was fixed.

The elevator is maintained regularly and was repaired shortly after your departure. The elevators at Bahia Vista are fairly dependable. If they ever do malfunction, we ask our guests to call us and we will gladly offer assistance with luggage, or any other items. In fact, this happened 5 years ago on a busy Arrival/Departure Saturday and I hired two high school students to spend the day assisting any renters and/or residents with their belongings.
I will put in a request for new mattresses, with the owner of this villa.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bv-c63. It was private, quiet, clean, spacious--the views from the 2 patios beautiful. The nice layout meant everyone had personal space to rest or relax but also plenty of space in the kitchen, dining area, living room and patios (and pool) for hanging out together. Very convenient to get anywhere in town in just a few minutes--no need for a golf cart. Since this is a townhouse layout people should know there are 2 flights of stairs within the apartment (to get from entry to first floor and then from the first to second floor) so if you have trouble negotiating stairs, this probably isn't a good location. Both bathrooms involved stairs. It was no problem for us--the levels added to the sense of spaciousness--but we all felt it should be clearer in the description of the apartment. The people at the Catalina vacation rentals were extremely helpful with all the details of our travel and stay.

Only things I would change is to put a flat screen tv on the wall in the living room.Also put in pillow top mattress or pillow top pads on all mattress.Otherwise we loved the condo and will stay there again next year.Thank you for letting us stay in your condo!Great view,

we had stayed at c-63 eight years ago. this time we had the pleasure of the use of the swimming pool. it was great -- the kids used it several hours every day. altho' we love c-63, it is in need of some updating. needs painted, furniture needs replaced, and the wall paper needs changed out. it would have been nice to have glasses, pots and pans along with dishes that were in better shape. it just felt unloved. the floors hadn't been scrubbed in i don't know how long. we all had on white socks and they were black in no time.

The condo was clean and beautiful with a great view. And we loved having the third bedroom. Only difficult part was the stairs. I wish there was an elevator that went all the way up to that level. My knees bother me and it was difficult to go up and down as often as we needed to.

My friends and I rent many homes during the course of our biking travels. The location of this rental was great, it had a place to park our bikes and the view was amazing. We had difficulty with the heat causing one couple to spend the night downstairs on the couch and then switching for a "warmer room". The beds were hard and the master bedroom was less then clean. The bed coverlet was ripped and dirty as well as the headboard. I found many dead pincher bugs on the floors as well as a greasy stain on the master bath floor that was easily wiped off with a paper towel. It might have been that the house has not been rented in awhile, or the cleaners did not do a very good job after the last renter. With a little TLC inside it would be a great rental.

The condo was really nice and first class. We are owners in the building and the unit was nicer than ours! Plenty of room, nice view, clean and new looking. So easy to rent, absolutely no hassle and pretty reasonable rates. Would rent again and have friends who are going to rent it this summer.

Lovely Catalina vacation rental. The penthouse unit is truly spectacular
with plenty of room, great kitchen and deck, and incredible ocean
view. The complex is quiet, clean and short walking distance to all
Catalina has to offer. We rent two units here because our family is
large, and we enjoy vacationing together. The biggest draw for us is
the swimming pool; with young children, it offers a nice option when
they have had to much beach! We have spent a week of our summer
vacation on Catalina for the last 14 years, it has become a treasured
family tradition that now includes our grandchildren. -

This was a very nice condo. Beautiful view, lots of space, nicely located and had a pool.
We only had an issue with the Master bedroom because the comforter was dirty and stained and the bed was very very old. It was a little upsetting, but the rest of the place was very comfortable.
We had a nice time, but they definately need a new Master bed.
