Casa Santa Cruz sits on the hillside that overlooks both Isthmus Cove and Catalina Harbor. As

you climb the stairs to the house your eye is drawn up to the soaring double roof line that

is reminiscent of sailboats out on the bay. β€œ JB”, the pelican, serves as the official greeter

at the top of the stairs. For outdoor dining, the front deck has a dining table for eight with

bright ocean blue chair cushions and a gas barbeque.

As you enter the Casa, once again your eye is drawn up to the soaring two story ceiling

and the whitewashed cedar walls. An inviting second story loft sits mid-room that

... is reached by a spiral staircase. The living room has an accent wall of Catalina rock

opposite the fireplace also built into Catalina rock. The room is decorated in colorful

aqua and lime green chairs and couch. Floor to ceiling windows flood the room with

sunlight and present a spectacular view of Isthmus Cove. Looking in the opposite

direction, through the dining room and wet bar, the living room also has a view of the

hills surrounding Cat Harbor. The floors in the living room, dining room and kitchen are

tile.

Tangerine dining chairs are set around the country white dining table that accommodates

eight. At the end of the dining room, glass doors lead out to a back sundeck and patio.

The deck has four Adirondack chairs and tables and a beautiful view of Cat Harbor and

the sunset.

The wet bar and kitchen are adjacent to the dining room. The wet bar has a small

refrigerator, copper sink and rattan bar chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped with a full

size refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, disposal, microwave, blender, utensils and pots &

pans.

The master suite is off the living room with a private bath, hardwood floors and a view of

both harbors. Sky lights and double stacked windows allow sunlight and ocean breezes

into the room. The bed, a California King is done in rich creams and soft ocean blues.

The dresser opposite the foot of the bed holds a 37” television. A comfortable reading

chair and lamp add to the room’s charm.

The other two bedrooms sit on the opposite side of the casa and share a full bath. The

front room has a full view of Isthmus Cove, 2 single beds, and hardwood floors covered

with a fun multi-striped area rug. Khaki and a light turquoise are on the walls. French

doors lead out onto the front sundeck.

From the back bedroom a beautiful view of Catalina Harbor is seen through a wall of

large windows. The queen bed is covered in aqua, cream and taupe with pale aqua walls

and hardwood floor.

The loft is a large, spectacular room where everyone can gather for fun and games. The

entertainment center contains a 40” 3-D television with Blue Ray player and a selection

of DVDs. Board games and books stock the shelves. A large sectional sofa, covered in

sea foam blue ticking, is the focus of the room. It also doubles as a fold out queen size

bed. Behind the sofa is a beautiful series of yachting photographs.

Amenities include pick up and drop off from the boat or helicopter, personal sized

toiletries, a 2nd set of linens, beach towels and bicycles.
