Left on 12/13/2012 for a stay in May 2012
This hotel and it's sister hotel "Hotel Vista" are on the main street of Catalina, looking out at the Pacific and the Marina. The rooms are very nice and staff so friendly and helpful ! We enjoyed our stay so much and plan on going again , staying at either the Hotel Vista or Snug Harbor is a wonderful way to enjoy Catalina Island !!!

San Diego, CA.Quiet and secluded
Left on 11/01/2012 for a stay in June 2012
Very nice property, was a timeshare rental. Excellent service by all the staff. Arranged pickup from the ferry arrival and departure, made the convenience memorable, besides being taxied to downtown while services were available during the day and evening. There is a little resturant in the complex with attractive meals and pricing, with limited hours however breakfast was great. Small pool that accomodates children. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would recommend for all ages. Tour bus stops were in same area as shuttle pick up which made it convenient.

Left on 11/01/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Stayed twice at the Catalina Canyon Resort last Summer as home base for family boating trips. Both stays wer very comfortable and the shuttle to and from town is a great feature. Also stayed in June for our 30th anniversary and were well taken care of. We'll be back and may take advantage of the dog friendly policy.

Vista, CAThe worst hotel, never again.
Left on 10/20/2012 for a stay in October 2012
This hotel was one of the worst hotels we have ever been in. It was advertised as all rooms recently refurbished. This was not the case. We stayed in room #301 and when you first walked into the room it smell musty and old. The furniture, curtains, bathroom were all outdated. There were times when the carpet smelled of urine. We later learned that this hotel was pet friendly. We wanted to open the windows to air it out and one was missing a screen. We asked 3 times for a replacement and they never brought one. Thank goodness we had a balcony. We had to wait way past the check-in time as they told us they were getting the nicest room ready for us. The restaurant and bar were not open the entire time we were there. I know it was after Labor Day, but if they advertise this amenity, they should have it. It was nice to have the shuttle to town just to get away from it.
