Lots of TLC is given to this charming two bedroom, one bath located on the bottom level of this Victorian triplex - a perfect vacation rental for a couple or small family. Enjoy the partial ocean views from the front porch, which is great for lounging around or barbecuing. Accommodations include a queen bed in the master bedroom, single size bunk beds in second bedroom, as well as a single day bed in the family room. It also has a 32-inch flat panel TV with satellite, DVD player, VCR and fully equipped kitchen. This property is located approximately 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and downtown. No smoking, please.

First all if I had known how steep the hill was to the apartment I would not have rented and paid for a apartment on the lower level. It should be stated in the description of the apartment that there was a steep climb to it. Also there was some problems w/ the stove and 2 burners were not working initially and we had a gas leak late in the evening which cause some concern. Also there was a note about supplying toilet paper which I feel should have been provided by your agency. Also the bed in the living was not made and it would have been nice if it was. Since I couldn't find the sheet initially and had to sleep on top of it the first night.

We had a wonderful get away in avalon and enjoyed the low key amenities offered by this rental. My sister and I took her 2 grandsons to avalon to re-live our adventures with them. This unit was perfect for our needs. We had comfortable beds, a kitchen for meals, and a balcony/patio to enjoy the view. It was a convenient walk to everything we wanted to do on our stay. Checking in and out was a snap. The paperwork prior to arrival was seamless. I would do this anytime in the future.

the house says sleeps 5--good thing the other couple didn't come--barely fit the 2 of us--next year we'll get a 4-5 bedroom for 2 couples---but love the town!!!!!

We enjoyed our stay. The uphill walk kept us from getting too lazy ;-). Overall we enjoyed our stay and the cottage provided everything we needed with exeption to a place to sit and eat our meals. We found a nice round table on the side of the cottage and ate on the deck so it worked out fine. the upstairs neighbors were a bit noisy but we got used to it.

We loved our stay at 216 Whitley A.
It is an adorable unit, clean and had almost everything we needed for our stay.
I would have liked to have towel or towel service as we hit the beach every day and our towels were dirty! Or use of the laundry facilities on sight.
The one other thing that we would have liked was a CD player. We brought our own and it would have saved some suitcase space to not bring it.
Overall I would highly recommend the place to anyone. The price was reasonable and the stay was great! -

The home was cute. Small living room/kitchen/dining room combination. The cooking equipment needs some updating. There were no bowls, knives were dull, coffee pot leaked, etc. The rooms were fine. The bathroom was another issue. The toliet was slow to flush. The sink was fine. The tub would fill up with water when you would take a shower. We contacted the office and they sent a maintenance man. He proceeded to take out the anti-sifen valve off the tub and left with it, never to return. ??? Other than that it's a bit of a walk up the street every day. Maybe think about renting golf carts for the week...

It is small house which worked for our small group. Would recommend for someone who is looking for a house on walking distance to the ocean. Though an old house, and some issues with old furniture, doors. Overall a nice house to rent for a few days.

A group of 4 of us stayed in this quaint apartment. It's within perfect walking distance of Descano Beach, and the grocery store is just the next street over! House is furnished with everything you need, which was nice. We couldn't figure out how to work the tv however, but when you're staying on Catalina, who needs a tv? I would definitely recommend this property to anyone who wants to rent a property on the island for a week or so. It's great!

Water was off short time but we had overall great time. We were able to check in a little early which really help upon arrival.
Thanks for late check out too. Made it worth the higher price for the one day.
