This is a family oriented 3 bedroom, 2 bath property, approximately 1300 sq.ft., and it is the upper portion of a modern triplex. There are french doors leading to a wrap around balcony with great ocean and hillside views. The living room has a wood burning fireplace and a 40-inch flat panel TV. The laundry room with washer and dryer is located off the master bedroom. This property comes with the complimentary use of a golf cart.
This property rents on a nightly basis during the non-summer seasons (2 night minimum, holidays and selected dates excepted) and on a weekly basis (Sunday to Sunday) in summer (mid-June through Labor Day). Rate...Read more

The rental was exactly as described on the website. The property was clean and had more than enough towels, soap, bedding, etc for our group. We had a full house and everyone was comfortable and loved the location. I will definitely try to rent this one again next time.

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean with great accommodations. Loved the new floors, TV in all the rooms, view, out door grill and spacious family room. With a family of 6, we really felt comfortable. Love the wrap around porch with amazing view. Walking distance to a coffee house, restaurants and Vons. Highlight: golf cart!!

This is was our third consecutive year staying at the Eagles Nest and we can't wait until we go back next year.
The views from the living room are breathtaking!
Love the fact that the owner replaced the carpet with tile in the kitchen and hallway. Now they just need to replace the old green carpet in the bedrooms and living room.
Although its temporary, we could have went without all the construction noise across the street.
Finally, the best part about staying in the Eagles Nest is the golf cart. We take our disabled mother with us every year and the golf cart is a blessing. It's definitely the best way to explore the island.

We had a really good stay at this home. It was the perfect size, and the view was terrific. The hill was a bit of a challenge with our luggage getting off the boat, but otherwise, the walk to and from town was welcome! We loved the golf cart! Could have used a few more towels (there were 7 of us), particularly as we stayed for 4 nights, and it would be nice if laundry soap was provided!

We had our daughters wedding. The weather for beach wedding was perfect, reception at Ristorante was perfect, the flowers by blooom and cake by Katrina perfect, the house 300 Marilla with view perfect and the minister Mark alft recommended all vendors . My daughter and her groom and parents, family, friends and all guests had a wonderful time. I thank you very much and would recommend and have 5 more adult children to get married off..

Spacious home with 3 bedrooms that made everyone feel comfortable and welcome! Beautiful view from balcony...the home had all the things we needed for the weekend. The golf cart was a big plus as this home is up a steep hill. We would love to stay here again!

It was clean, comfortable, and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. It had a great view of the harbor from one deck and the hillside from the other deck (the lot across the street was undeveloped), so we were not staring into someone else's home. The golf cart was a nice feature for exploring outside of downtown avalon. The downstairs neighbors in the next building were loud on occasion. Overall, I recommend the place!

We rented this house to stay in while on Catalina Island for a wedding in September. While the house was not clean when we checked in, we called Catalina Vacation Rentals and they took care of the situation immediately and were great about compensating us for the inconvenience. The beds weren't the most comfortable that I'd ever slept on, but they were perfectly fine nonetheless. The views from the house were beautiful and the house, itself, was very homey. I would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.

The home we stayed in was exactly what was advertised...and more than we expected. All the amenities of home. Excellent service...especially from Phil. He went beyond expectations in dropping us off at the home when we arrived. Phil also helped us in securing a babysitter during our stay. Very friendly and helpful. The company and Phil were more than just property managers. We consider them friends and will definitely visit againg, and tell our friends. Thanks for everything!

It was great to get away for a few days. Our condo was nice but a little to far from the main street. Everything was great except the weather. We had cool weather and lots of drizzle/rain but overall it was great. I have loved Catalina since my childhood were we wwent alot. Great childhood memories of siblings and cousins spending several weeks at a time vacationing there.

This was the first time we've rented a house to stay on Catalina. The benifits of this are: It's much nicer to keep your group together, rather than splitting and going seperate ways to hotel rooms.
My only critisism would be: 1) the house sleeps 6 to 8 people. It would have been nice to have a bigger golf cart that would hold everyone. Also the golf cart could use a little tuning up.
2) The beds were like sleeping on concrete. Something in the middle would be great.
3) The pullout couch and recliner were ancient and in desperate need of replacement.
Other than that, the house was beautiful, clean and made for a wonderful vacation for us all. -

Great location, it is located on a hill which gives great views but you need to not mind walking up hill. House does come with a golf cart so that is great for getting grocieres. I would for sure stay here again!

I've rented this house twice and will continue to rent it if it's available next time I visit the island. Up on the hill in a quiet neighborhood, it has a great deck that has a view of the ocean and the other hillsides. It has a nice open floor plan and 2 bathrooms. Best of all, it comes with a golf cart (which you need to get up the hill). The only negative is the Kelly-green carpet.

Our trip to Catalina was to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. We and our children enjoyed our stay so very much. The house was perfect in every way and we felt right at home and the view was spectacular!! Catalina Vacation Rentals was very professional and courteous in handling our reservations and also so very helpful during our stay. We would definitely rent the house again. And the golf cart was a BIG plus!! Thank you again for making my husband's 50th a success!!

We had a fabulous time in Catalina. Our trip was a girls weekend getaway. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of space in this house. The view was great and a very relaxing place to enjoy our morning coffee and evening cocktails. Having the golf cart is what really made the trip for us. It is well worth a little extra expense to have the ability to explore the hills and breathtaking views whenever we wanted to. The house was also convenient and a quick walk to shopping and restaurants. We were extremely happy with our selection of this property and would highly recommend it for your vacation rental.

Avalon is such a relaxing getaway, and the only way to make it better was having our stay be 100% hassle-free. the people at the rental management company were more than helpful and just plain nice. We found the rental to be fantastic, and this one even came with a golf cart! Talk about simple. We loved it!

Several friends and I rented the home during the Jazz Festival there on the island and found the home comfortable. Everything we needed was there although the decor was rather outdated. Would prefer a more updated decor but the porch/deck was great! Loved having the golf cart as well. The cart made life much easier for us ladies in our heels.

WE rented the property for our wedding on Catalina. Our rental was for a week and it was great to have a house with a golf cart to get around on/in. Lots of room for family and friends to drop by. Very convieniant for wedding preperations. The rental company was fantastic and very accomodating. The house was a little older but very well kept and comfortable. We would definately rent again if the need occured.

An extended family - 5 adults and a 5 year old - stayed here for almost a week. The house was in a quiet and very pretty part of Avalon (are there any parts that aren't pretty?) within convenient walking distance of town central. Those of us who were not used to walking up hills got a little bit of a workout. The place was furnished comfortable and efficiently and was also very clean - something my wife always worries about. It was just what we wanted. A good place to linger over morning coffee and a good place to share the day's events before we went to bed.

Come to Catalina Island each May for the Rugby Tournament and have used Catalina Island Vacation Rentals several times. Typically share a house/condo with 6-8 friends and all very much enjoyed 300 Marilla (upstairs) with the golf cart, great views from the deck, BBQ, and big breakfasts in the spacious kitchen/dining room. CIVR even gave us a ride up the hill so we didn't have to drag our luggage! Staff very helpful, courteous and kind. Look forward to working with Catalina Island Vacation Rentals again this May!

This property was very spacious and had a gorgous wrap around patio area . The unit had a golf cart and inside the home a washer/dryer. The only negative was the number of stairs located outside to get to the property.
