This well-appointed vacation home is the large upper unit of a duplex in one of the more charming and quiet locations in Avalon. The first bedroom has a king size bed, the second has a queen, the third bedroom has two twin beds, and the living room holds a queen hide-a-bed. This home offers an updated kitchen and dining area, a 42 inch flat panel TV in the living area, a stacked washer/dryer in the twins bedroom, and many updated amenities, which make this vacation home unique and comfortable. If required, heat is provided by three space heaters. No smoking, please.

Loved being on a closed off street so the incessant speeding golf carts were not a constant annoyance. The house was very well furnished with ample of everything our family of 6 needed. Check and and out was very easy. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Loved this unit! The chose of decoration and colors was very pleasing.
The negative was the major remodeling of the unit below. While Catalina Island Vacation Rentals negotiated some decrease in the work being done and refunded some of our rental fees, it was a major disappointment and I came home with a serious sinus infection from the particulate matter in the air. The unit should not have been rented or the renovations not started to avoid this stressful for all situation. -

I don't think there is a better rental home in all of avalon. Our two families, four adults and four kids aged 8 - 13 were perfectly comfortable in this lovely renovated home on what must be the most quiet street in avalon. Every comfort, including wi-fi, was thoughtfully provided. It's one block to the tour plaza, two blocks to shopping and three blocks to the water.
Working with the rental company was a breeze - I walked into the office and walked out with the keys literally a minute later. The rest of the gang hired a taxi to bring over the luggage and themselves to the home. Even though I walked, I beat them to the home by about two minutes.
I certainly hope we have the opportunity to return to this peaceful spot on this peaceful island. Book this home with confidence and be sure to stay as long as you are able! -

My family was so happy to walk in and see how tastefully and cheerfully this second story unit was decorated. It fit 7 of us comfortably with windows letting in light and breezes and views in every room. Location was great as it was on a quiet pedestrian-only street, perfect for my senior parents and brother's young children, and within walking distance to beach and downtown restaurants/shops. The unit was also well-stocked with movies, books, kitchen supplies, beach toys, etc.

I had a great experience at this place and it had all of the amenities of home and more. The place was beautifully kept and in a great location close to everything around. The home was located on a beautiful private street good for barbecues and meeting the neighbors. The place itself was spacious and could sleep 8 people. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils and a nice stove and large refrigerator. The service I received was very good as I had requested a new propane tank and one was delivered very quickly. My only downside was a neighbor who was rude about noise during the day at our barbecue but other than that it is definitely somewhere I would return to in any future stays on the island!

This is a nice upstairs unit on a quiet, pedestrian-only street close to the heart of avalon. Perfect for families with children. The unit has recently been remodeled--colorfully and comfortably decorated as accurately represented in the photos. The well-outfitted kitchen has new, full-sized appliances. Cozy denim couches, board games, and flat-screen TV in living room with a diverse collections of Dvds. The only drawback, if you travel in winter, is no heating central heating in cool weather. Space heaters and on-demand hot water heater tripped circuit breakers that were not easily accessible to reset. Management company came out promptly to address issues each time, so only a mild inconvenience.

We have been to the island several times, and each time has been great. This Sept. we were with a group of friends celebrating a 50th b-day. Our stay started out in another house that we liked however we had alot of fleas in one bedroom. We were moved without hesitation, loved 3151/2 alot. It was very well stocked and decorated. Breakfast and bloodymarys were fun in the fabulous kitchen.Beach towels and chairs were also nice to use. Thanks

The only negative i can think of was that I was not able to stay longer.
The unit was one surprise after another: a new coffee maker (with Coffee!!);
all new kitchen FULLY equipped, in fact, there was no doubt a major upgrade
had recently been done. Opened the drawers under the flat screen TV and
found four full drawers of recent movies and Bob the Builder for our three year
old. Opened the coffee table to find it full of blankets.
The location on Eucalyptus was very quiet and comfortable to allow the 3.5
year old to play on the street without worry.
The rental agents were very accommodating and pleasant to work with.
I have rented many many houses in Avalon over last 30 years, this was the best
experience ever. -

This is a great house on a quiet street in Avalon. While many Avalon
streets are busy with golf cart traffic (the golf carts are a bit loud), this
house is on a street that is blocked off for pedestrian traffic only. The
house is beautifully furnished, recently remodeled and has all the
amenities like a big screen TV, washer / dryer and full kitchen. It is
only a 5 minute walk from the beach and boardwalk. I will definitely
stay there again on my return to Catalina next year! -

This home was close was very warm and inviting....It had everything you could ask for.....Short walk to the beach. I highly recommend it to anyone. Keep in mind it is an upstairs unit.
