After an active day at the beach, kids will enjoy the outdoor space for more play, and youâ€™ll like the quiet of this home, located on Avalonâ€™s only residential street that is limited to pedestrian traffic. Downtown and ice cream are only 2Â¼ blocks away if the urge strikes. Beach clean-up, family meals, games or movie night are easy with a well equipped kitchen with washer/ dryer, large dining table, open plan living/dining area, and flat panel TV. It did the job and was clean- but it could have been better.
Everything was great in reference to out check in and the home with the exception that it was very poorly stocked with an essential: toilet paper. Also, between the 6 of us we could not find sheets for the pull out couch, which was disappointing since it was one of the reasons we booked the unit. I happen to be staying at this unit again next month for a bachelorette party (completely by chance, as I did not book it myself). Hopefully there will be these basics the second time around. Other than that, the location is awesome and the home was very clean upon arrival.
Great location But!
We love the location but the house needs some work. There is to much furniture in every room. The floors are very dirty. The beds are substandard at best. The bed in master is ok but the other 2 collapse into a hole in the middle. The sofas are completely shot. We would love to see more small improvements each year understanding that tackling everything at once is cost prohibitive but we have seen none since the rear bathroom was redone a couple of years ago. The house could use a set of sharp knives and some sort of shade in front shower so you don't have to look at your neighbor while you bath.
I have been visiting avalon for 41 years. This is not the wosre property I have rented and it is not the best. The location keeps us coming back to it. We would just like some little improvements each year. We are only there for a week so we put up with the house but for the money it is not a great value. When our kids get older and don't want to play on the street anymore we will look at other properties.

Catalina vacation is not cheap.
Good street location, however it is a duplex. Bottom floor is very noisy with tenants above. Unit has some deferred maintenance that needs to be addressed.
The accomodations at 315 Eucalyptus were adequate. The kitchen was well appointed and cooking friendly. The house is definitely a bit older, a bit worn but was clean. One of the main issues we all had was the amount of noise from the neighbors and the upstairs tenant. I live in an apartment and I am used to living in close quarters with people. I will say that this unit is very noisy and lacks real privacy. Given those factors, I feel it is a bit overpriced for the quality and the surrounding environment. I doubt we would stay there ever again and not sure we would stay in one of your houses in the future. Thanks.

Comfortable property, good location
Comfortable location. property downstair is older, property upstair is newly renovated and is more upscale. Centrally located. We enjoyed our stay there.
Great vacation rental!
Spacious and clean, with all that you would need to begin your stay. Centrally located in Avalon, and situated on a very quiet street that is closed off to traffic. Great for a family with young children or adults looking for "solitude" without taking yourself too far away from town.

I was referred by the Chambers of Commerce. What a great place. Very charming. The only issue was the back bedroom on the right. The door stuck. So when opening and closing it made a horid noise.
I would rent this place again even with the door. I would suggest that the place get dusted. But overall this place was outstanding, wonderful location.
This was my best B-day ever.
