The home is located on a quiet no-vehicle street which is great for eating outside and visiting with your neighbors, plus it's just a short five minute walk to the beach. The house is old though and can use some remodeling. The front sliding windows don't lock. The front curtains are thin and the light from the exterior street lamp is so bright that it is impossible to sleep in the front rooms at night. Another problem is that you have to walk through the front bedroom to access the rear bedroom. It does have a washer and dryer which is a bonus. It would be nice if the owner would provide some plastic chairs for outside seating. The rental company is great to deal with.

Catalina bungalow are small, but our group of 6 from 7 to 75 found it very comfortable. Two bathrooms is nice. It was clean and comfortable. We liked being on the no car street. The staff at Civr were helpful and friendly. Jan

Everything went super smooth, from picking up keys to dropping off keys and everything in between. House was as promised and the street was very quiet and peaceful.

Need a strainer for spaghetti and would be nice if you had beach chairs available so we didn't have to transport them or rent them. I liked the place overall, but my husband was very unhappy with how small the bed was in the back room. Overall, I thought the place was perfect for the kids. The place had some items that were kind of falling apart such as a loose lamp from the wall showing electrical wires, a toilet that leaked and was noisy all night which was fixed. The leg on the main dinner table was loose the whole time so we were balancing every time we ate a meal, which was worrisome with two small children. Overall though place was very clean and decorated simple and nice. Dvd a hit for us.

The service was great. Everyone we interacted with at Catalina Island Vacation Rentals was polite and friendly. The house had lots of room and we love the street it is on. The house is central to everything. We were very excited to have washer/dryer that were in good working order. This is a big plus. It beats having to walk downtown and sit around waiting for clothes to wash. It gave us a lot more time to enjoy ourselves. The two bathrooms are great and everyone had a bed to sleep in. Our only suggestion would be to add curtains along the front windows that are not see through. We will see you next year!
catalina's always wonderful

The house is just fine. could use some new things... and a little makeover. The kitchen is not in the greatest shape. All in all the house works well for our family and we will be back.
My only big complaint is the neighbor right next door!!!! He's a nut and a little scary!!!!

Great little cottage, and easy to book and arrange. Loved the location, and the proximity to the ocean and downtown.
