This two story house is the perfect vacation home for your family, located on the only vehicle-free residential street in Avalon. The main floor has an open floor plan with the living and dining areas and kitchen with center island, as well as one bedroom, one bath and the laundry area. It is beautifully decorated, light and airy and has stone tile floors on the first floor. This home is located in the middle of town, three blocks from the beach and shopping.

For my 60th, I talked my 37-year-old son, daughter-in-law, 28-year-old daughter, husband and 5 friends to run the Catalina Half Marathon. We rented a great family house at 334 Eucalyptus and it was perfect. It was just a few minutes walking distance from town and the start line for the race. Located on a closed to motorized vehicles street, the kids could play out front without worry. A park just walking distance away was a nice bonus too. With 4 kids under 4 years, it was crazy but the layout of the house allowed enough room downstairs for everyone without feeling crowded. Nice big kitchen and ceiling fans in all bedrooms. Dishwasher wasn't working, but my husband enjoys the monotony of washing dishes for some odd reason! My husband and I quickly took dibs on the downstairs bedroom off the kitchen (TV & bathroom too), and the rest of the rugrats and adults were upstairs in the remaining 3 bedrooms. My 5 friends were smart and rented a separate house on Whitley, just a 5 to 10 minute walk away, which is where I escaped to when I needed a little quite time :-) We liked the house and proximity to everything. We'll be back.

Perfect weekend. The house was beautifully decorated and incredibly spacious. Walking distance to every market/restaurant/beach. Great location and the rental office was so helpful and friendly. A wonderful home for a group of friends or family. It could easily fit 2 families with so many beds. Would definitely recommend this house and rental company.

The layout of this house for multi-family is awesome! The amenities are perfect... The only concern we had was the extreme closeness we are to our neighbors on either side. Their early morning and late nite cigarette/cigar smoke and language was irritating. However, when we finally confronted them, they were accomodating in that they moved.
We constantly had to monitor our noise level for them too, which, like I said, wasn't ideal, but we will definitly stay there again next year! -

We rented this house for a family vacation with our 3 adult children. The house itself was beautiful, modern and roomy. The location was great. You could easily walk to all. A great place to stay with kids of all ages. The only thing (and to us a big one) is it could have been much cleaner. Whoever cleans in between tenants does not do a very good job. We ended up putting all the dishes and silverware through the dishwasher as well as washing the tile floor right away as it was dirty. Didn't appear that the quilts on the beds are washed in between. My husband mentioned this to the rental office and they only said they would pass along the info...not sure to who. This house could be a gem and has all the amenities if it had been cleaner.

Really enjoyed the house & location. Nice layout-very comfortable. The only complaint I have is that the bedspread & blankets in master bedroom were not clean. Also they could use a new umbrella on outside deck.

My wife and I, a friend and her daughter, another couple from home, and my spearfishing partner stayed here the Sun-Wed before the Memorial weekend and had a fabulous time. The house was just great. All the bedrooms were fine as were the bathrooms. The living room was comfortable and the kitchen well supplied and a perfect place to put on a great dinner. The location doesn't afford a view but on the plus side is the fact it is walking distance to the main streets (a couple of minutes) and is on a street closed to vehicles, so it is quiet. One neighbor was a bit noisy at night, but that's life. All in all an excellent place to stay on Catalina, especially for a large group.

Everything about the home was excellent. Close to the beach and all of the activities of the town. We did not have a golf cart which was great because we got to walk everywhere not like home.

House is of quality construction, beautifully furnished with four separate bedrooms and three baths. Easy walk to shops and beach. Located on walk street which eliminates trafic noise. The management company is very responsive to problems (eg., a balky dishwasher required a strong push to close door and begin the wash cycle)

The service was perfect and the house was comfortable and felt like home.The amenities were very good and clean.I like the close location for scuba diving and dining.Can't think of a downside because there just wasn't any.I would recommend this home to my friends ,and I have,and look forward to staying again.Thanks to all the great people at Catalina Island Vacation Rentals.

Great home for a family get-away. I enjoyed a long weekend with my adult

from the weekend crowds but close enough to everything we needed!

Catalina Island Vacation Rental was wonderful at helping us select just the
right place for our family's 2010 New Year's getaway. The Eucalyptus home
was a GREAT choice! Very updated, bright and spacious. Our only complain
were the uncomfortable twin beds upstairs. But the location and the updated
decor would definitely bring us back! -

that the houses are very close and a lot of the neighbors are locals so if you
are vacationing, there may sometimes be a conflict.

The service from Catalina Island Vacation Rentals was outstanding. The home was recently built/remodeled and everything seemed new. The 3 bathrooms were a big plus. On our favorite street in Catalina which is blocked off at both ends. A short walk to the golf course and Country Club and the Sand Trap which we enjoyed. Also an easy walk to the beach.

We had a most wonderful couple of days...the home was lovely, beautifully appointed, & proximity to the town was most convenient...
We are a family and each of us was comfortable. Great care was shown in doing the bathrooms, bedrooms, & kitchen...they are beautiful. The floor plan is great. And the art work was a pleasure...from the coasters to the wall hangings...we loved sharing this home from you and look forward to a return visit to this property!

Everything about our stay on Catalina was perfect. Exceptional house on a walking street made for a very pleasant and quiet stay. The house had everything but pot holders and a cork screw (we provided one and left for future renters) but if that was our only complaint, you can tell we were thrilled with the house. Will definitely use again!

The house was absolutely beautiful. The pictures online do not do it justice. Everything was well stocked, especially in the kitchen where there were plenty of pots, pans, etc. The house is centrally located, so it was easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go, and it is on a street that does not allow any motorized vehicle traffic so there were no golf carts puttering up and down in front of the house all day and night. Next time we vacation on Catalina, this is the house we would like to stay in again.

My sisters and I met in Catalina for a long weekend. The house was perfect; we all had our own bedrooms and pleanty of room to roam. The location was terrific; close to downtown, but quiet. All in all, the visit was delightful.

Home has been completely redone and upgraded. Our family of 5 fit all of us very comfortably. Additionally, we had 2 guests join us and still had plenty of room. Close walk to everything. Would stay there again. Highly recommend.

The house is tasteful decorated with lots of games and movies. The
kitchen was large and spacious with nice countertops and bar stools.
It offered us a lovely place to vacation with our children.
The only issue we had with the home is one that most won't need to
worry about as we rented it in December and we needed heat. The
upstairs heated very quickly but the bottom floor was cold. Other than
that, the fire place kept us toasty and we enjoyed playing games on
the table and on the coffee table in front of the fire place. -

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful and comfortable home to pick for our after Christmas stay. We had an amazing long weekend. The house was equiped with everything we could have wanted.
We especially liked the 3 bathrooms as no one had to wait at the door for use. We loved the nautical theme.
Catalina has always been a special place for me especially as my mother's ashes were place on the Island when she passed.
We have plans on coming back and would recommend this house to anyone...not when we want to rent it!!!
We have rented homes on the island before but none as spectacular as this one. -

We have stayed in Catalina each year for the past 5 years. This house was by far the nicest rental we have rented. It is beautiful inside. It is light and airy. Our family of four shared it with another family. It was very comfortable for the 8 of us. It is just a great layout as well. Hope you will enjoy it as much as we did.

The home was clean and very comfortable. Well appointed and maintained. The only suggestion I have is that the twin beds upstairs were very uncomfortable. I suggest the mattresses be replaced. The middle bedroom upstairs was also not very comfortable. Otherwise we were delighted with the house.

I decided to go with this property after looking over several options
and glad I did! Everybody in my party throughly enjoyed it too. (by
the way we all weren't related) It was spacious and most importantly
very clean! The home is close enough to the center of town yet just
far enough to enjoy some quiet time. There are no cars allowed on
Eucalyptus which was nice. Even though initially, I wanted to find
something less expensive I am happy to have splurged and would do it
all over again, without regret:) Without a doubt I would give this place
10 stars if allowed:) -
