Really enjoyed this Christmas week stay in Catalina...
Avalon really dresses up in bright colored Christmas lights and a festive feeling abounds! Our Condo was a very nice surprise...did not expect it to be so delightful and comfortable and have such a giant vista!
The bed was comfortable and kitchen well stocked.
Only problem for us was the heat was sooo slow to warm the condo...it was chilly weather that holiday week.
We look forward to returning soon... -

First I found that is was very easy and refreshing to work with Civr...especially Chay who assisted in making some adjustments due to some family issues. She was very good in communicating and providing necessary support.
We weren't sure what to expect since we had never been to Catalina before. Expectations were certainly met and exceeded in all regards including the unit that we were fortunate to stay in. View was outstanding! Not many people on site during the week of off-season which was exceptionally nice as we were looking for some down time. Unit was clean, comfortable, appropriately stocked and a very, very nice alternative to a Hotel experience.
We didn't use the pool or spa, simply because of weather and distance, but they both looked nice.
We will likely be back. Thanks for a positive experience -

We were very pleased when we opened the door to this beautiful room. All the amenities we could want as well as roomy, wonderful decor, excellent view and very clean. My wife and I will definitely come back to this exact room.

We returned to the Island in September, this time renting a condo at Hamilton Cove vs an upscale hotel. Our experience was 5star! The Cove is quite, well maintained and secure. The use of a golf cart made a difference in our ability to take advantage of all activities. Our rental condo was very well appointed with everything you can imagine. There even was a pad and pencil by the phone!! We cooked in our dinner to save calories and the host provided us with pote/pans beautiful dishes and a great ocean view! Oh, and the king size bed was so comfortable I missed my snorkle adventure! We plan to make HC our getaway destination through out the year. Ps: The steps were easy to climb.
