Visalia, CAI felt like I was in Santorini, Greece!
Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Words cannot express how lovely our accommodations were; me, my parents and my son were there at Hamilton Cove to celebrate our birthdays in Rm 142. It truly was a dream come true from the luxurious accommodations, the use of the golf cart and the activities offered. We will definitely return again, next time with a possibly bigger place so my sister can stay with us, as well. A huge Thank you to the owner (who I assumes lives in Laguna Beach and has a liking to boating) for the great books and music. This gets an off the chart rating from me and we were all so pleasantly surprised. Will book again. One point: Dishwasher should clean a little better,

So enjoyed our stay. Hamilton Cove Villas have lots of stairs to deal with. I was prepared for that when I brought my elderly parents, but wasn't prepared for the steps in the bedrooms! A little tricky since they couldn't go in or out of the bedroom by themselves. But totally worth it and would only be happy staying at Hamiliton Villas when I come again. My daughter and son-in-law joined us for a few days and it has become their favorite place in California! Hope to be back next year.
Villa 2-46 was great. Hard to imagine I would prefer any other one. -

Ejoyed the condo and the view. Was happy it was closer to the street. Staff were very helpful and addressed our needs for propane and drain in shower immediately.
Would rent this unit again.
Missed not having a blender as we always have fruit smoothies for breakfast.
Nothing to do with owners of unit but it would be nice if there was a separate pool for children and adults.

San Gabriel, CAOur Favorite Unit in Hamilton Cove
Left on 09/17/2011 for a stay in August 2011
This unit is perfect for2 couples. It is the only unit we've stayed in where both bedrooms have king beds and both open onto the deck, we also appreciated the BBQ. We will definitely stay there again. My only suggestion is that Civr should provide kleenex boxes in the bathrooms. It is the only time I can recall a rental without that simple amenity.

Left on 08/13/2009 for a stay in July 2009
the condo looked just like the pictures, Nice and comfortable. There were a few spices to use which was helpful when cooking. A few maintence issues that could easily be fixed. We would stay there again...location was great for just looking at the ocean and relaxing. Nice golf cart also. Overall complex had many nice plusses.
Did find the vacation rental gal I spoke with a bit snippy...not too helpful, bit of an attitude. -

Irvine, CaGreat Views, but moldy
Left on 08/06/2009 for a stay in July 2009
Overall the home was a great setup with great view from every room. However, the cleanliness could be improved. There is a strong Moldy smell in the Master bath with mold around the shower and shower head.
The blinds don't work great in any of the rooms.
The home was equipped with most essentials for a weekend jaunt. -

Hamilton Cove is glorious. We were, however, disappointed in the condo we chose. (We gave a list of things wrong with the condo to the property management company when we checked out.) The property wasn't as clean as we expected it to be. The bathtub didn't work. The front door lock was difficult. The blind in the master bedroom was broken and would not go up or down. The weekend was noisey, even after hours when it's supposed to be quiet there were still people in the pool yelling. While the description says, "Well appointed", we thought it needed upgrading and things such as plastic wrap and other items should be included in a condo that rents for $330/night. Also, the dryer was broken. The barrings are out and could cause a fire. The golf cart worked well and we appreciated the convenience of it. Hamilton Cove is a special place, but we would not rent this unit again. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay at the Villa very much. Having three teenagers to feed and entertain proved pretty easy with a full kitchen and the amenities provided. Having the golf cart included was a huge plus for the numerous trips to town. Any issues we had with the property were quickly dealt with by the villa staff. I would definately consider staying there again.

NevadaGreat location and private
Left on 01/10/2009 for a stay in August 2006
We really had a great time. The golf cart was a great plus to get around. I wish the townhome would have been a bit cleaner on the floors. Trash was under the master bed. It looked like no one ever looked, cleaned or vaccumed under the bed ever. The entrance to the property outside the door had trash blown in and was not picked up while we were there and all three days we were there, there was wet laundry left in the washer so that we could not use it. These are easy things to fix though.
We really enjoyed the private beach and putting golf course. I wish the island used elctric golf carts instead of gas powered. The golf cart fumes were very strong throughout the city. The views from this property are amazing! You truely feel special staying at this resort. The townhome had a nice interior and pleasant furnishings. We had a great time and hope to return. We would stay in that particular townhome again just fix a couple of things mentioned above.
Thanks, gena
p.s. I just remembered the video/dvd player didn't work.... We played games. -

Overall the place was nice, but it wasn't well cared for. We had a broken blind in one of the bedrooms which made sleeping in the morning impossible at daybreak. We had to call twice to make sure someone came out to fix it. And instead of fixing the issue they just lowered the blinds. It's far too expensive for what you're getting in return.
