Buri Island Villas is located in the southern tip of the Island of Buri, part of Brgy. Estaka, north-west of Catbalogan city, Samar province. It is in central Philippines and part of the eastern visayas region. This region is absolutely peacefull and free of banditry.
Though an island, it is connected to the mainland by a causeway. It is also where the city' airport is situated. Just 13 kilometers or 20 minutes away from the town center of Catbalogan.

The bungalow of mister Gerry is super located. You have privacy and luxery in one. There is a small village nearby and a nice beach at just a 15 minute walk.

The view of Maqueda Bay is so enchanting.
The view of Maqueda Bay is so romantic.
And at night, the view of Maqueda Bay is so serene.
One gets panoramic views of Maqueda Bay from the 3 sides of the villa. Whether it's at daybreak, sunset or night time, one will never get tired of the view from the villa's hilltop perspective.
The villa itself is quaint and with complete amenities. One would tend to most of the time at the veranda and garden outside. A nap on the hammock should be routine during your stay.
It would only be late at night when you can retreat inside the villa, perhaps to catch a movie on digital satellite TV. Before turning in, you could still go outside to have an enchanting view of the bay bathed in moonlight.

We were lucky enough to be the first guests of Gerry's. This is a perfect place for a couple or small family to get away for some R&R.; Gerry provided anything we needed from shopping to transportation. Beautiful views and access to a nice beach for swimming. I have stayed in a few seaside resorts and this is definitively the best value. I will definitively stay here on my next trip.
