Perched high on a hillside in the upscale neighborhood of Estate Catherineberg, La Jolla Caribe offers complete privacy and elegant Caribbean living at its finest. From the lofty location of this three level villa you will experience unsurpassed panoramas of the azure waters and bays of St. John's North Shore, several of the British Virgin Islands and the North Atlantic Ocean beyond. La Jolla Caribe is located within the Virgin Islands National Park and offers guests a short walk to the historic nearby Catherineberg ruins or a scenic hike down to the beach at Cinnamon Bay. This villa features 5 bedrooms with large, comfortable interior and ex...terior living areas all finely appointed to enhance your St. John experience.

The upper level of this beautiful home is accessed through a portico entrance from the adjacent private and gated parking area. There are no stairs needed to access the upper, main level of La Jolla Caribe. The main level great room features a spacious, open floor plan with high vaulted ceilings, a luxurious and comfortable seating area, indoor dining area with seating for 8, and kitchen all decorated in an island motif. For your entertainment, the great room offers a large flat screen TV with cable service, DVD player, IPod docking station, and stereo/CD system. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you will need for packing a lunch for the beach or preparing gourmet meals at home.

Open the great room wall of sliding glass and screen doors to an expansive wrap around deck to let in the cooling mountain breezes and experience the awesome ocean views. The deck creates a relaxing environment with seating areas and lounge chairs for enjoying morning coffee or tea and evening sundowner cocktails. A sliding glass door from the interior dining area leads to a side deck with a covered alfresco dining area with seating for 8 and a small service bar with beverage cooler.

There are two private bedrooms located on the upper level of this home. One bedroom is accessed just inside the main entrance and features a comfortable king bed (which can be converted to twin beds, a futon that converts to a bed, ceiling fan, flat screen TV with DVD player and en-suite bath. The second main level bedroom is accessed just outside the sliding glass door to the alfresco dining deck and features a comfortable queen bed, ceiling fan, safe for storage of valuables, and en-suite bath. Both bedrooms feature full wall, wooden louver and screened windows which provide cooling nighttime breezes.

The second level of the villa is accessed directly from the lower parking area and from stairways from the upper level parking area and deck. This level features a two bedroom suite consisting of twin beds (that may be converted to a king bed) in one room and a queen bed in the other room and a shared en-suite bathroom. The twin bedroom has a ceiling fan, sliding screened glass door to the deck area and open air screened window openings. There are drop down wooden shutters on the windows which may be lowered for more privacy. The adjacent queen bedroom features wooden louver windows with screens, a ceiling fan and privacy door. There is a safe for storing valuables. There is also an air conditioned Den/TV/Game Room room with two twin sized day beds on the second level. The deck on this level offers panoramic ocean views and comfortable seating areas ideal for reading and lounging away from the Caribbean sun.

The lower level of the villa is accessed by a staircase from the second level and features a very private bedroom with king bed (which may be converted to twin beds) and en-suite bath. The screened full wall windows allow fresh air comfort in an elegant environment. The 6-8 person Jacuzzi hot tub is located on this lower level right next to the signature surfboard marquee and features breathtaking views of the beautiful waters and beaches of the North Shore of St. John.

With its spacious decks and finely appointed living areas on all levels, ceiling fans throughout, and large screened openings for enjoying the fresh Caribbean breezes, La Jolla Caribe offers the utmost in privacy, elegance, and comfort. Cimmaron made sure La Jolla Caribe was clean, well maintained and perfect prior to our arrival.   An amazing adventure

  La Jolla Caribe was a perfect villa for our extended family of 11! Cimmaron was easy to work with and helped make our trip fabulous every step of the way. The villa is beautiful and well maintained. The view is unbelievable. We hardly wanted to leave because we felt it must be the perfect spot on the island. Their were gentle breezes and we often actually covered up some at night-our stay was in mid-March. There are three verandas which all have spectacular views. We ate almost all our meals there and the kitchen was large and extremely well equipped for several people cooking at the same time, We had the best time and felt very comfortable in this lovely home. We can't wait to go back!
