Catering for singles or couples, the upper deck in newly converted loft style apartment encompassing high quality fixture and fittings including a fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and fridge. The upper deck apartment is situated in the picturesque twinned fishing villages of kingsand and cawsand on the beautiful rame peninsula, in se cornwall, in cawsand you will find a good selection of pubs and restaurants, cawsand has a sandy beach that is only a 4 minite walk from the apartment and is surrounded by numerous country walks including the s.w coastal path. If all the out door activities are to much for you the city of plymouth is only 20 miles away.

I have stayed in both the upper deck and lower deck at KeanHill. Both properties have a very different theme; upper deck being more luxurious and lower deck more on the pratical side. The properties are3 well placed, as you are very near the sea, but far enough away to escape the crowds. I have come back to this part of the world for the last 4 years and never regret spending my hols here (even when the weather is not so great). Helen is a great host and always willing to accommodate most requests. I thoroughly recommend Kean Hill to anyone who is visiting Cawsand or Kingsand.

We actually stayed in "Lower Deck" which is the ground floor apartment of the same house. All the facilities were excellent. The kitchen had everything you could need. It was spacious with french windows opening onto a little terrace area with a table and chairs and a lovely view. The lounge/dining area has two comfortable sofas. One of these is a double sofa bed which would be suitable for one or two children.
Cawsand, Kingsand, Whitsand Bay, Mount Edgecumbe and in fact the whole of the Rame Peninsular is very unspoilt and quiet, even in the school holidays! The local people are so friendly and that includes the pubs and shops. If you like traditional Cornish pubs then the Halfway House Inn in Kingsand (only five minutes walk away) is the best. The food is delicious too. Look out for the Rame Singers, a jolly and entertaining male voice choir who frequent the Halfway House Inn.
Tip: Just be aware that the bathroom is off the double bedroom so the sofa bed could only really be used by close family. -

The apartment was clean and comfortable. Very comfortable bed and wonderful bath. Three of us stayed - my partner, myself and our 4-year-old son (we took a blow-up mattress). Wonderful views of the bay and the hill opposite with deer in the evenings. Short walk to the beach. Cawsand is lovely and unspoiled. Helen - the host - is friendly and welcoming (and so are her daughter, cat and dog!). We were not expecting the place to be so lovely and we had a wonderful time. none of us wanted to come home and we plan to stay there again.

The loft is everything you would expect from a five star hotel, the spa bath added to the luxury. We found the locals very friendly and accomodateing. Food was good at the local pubs, our favorithe was The Devonshire, cornish lamb yummy. The cliff walk to Rame Head spectacular veiws. Than you Helen for a loveley holiday

Our stay at Kean Hill in the Upper Deck Loft was a lovely experience. The bathroom is amazing and very luxurious, the view is wonderful, and all in all we felt very comfortable in what we call Helen's Nest. In the sitting area we could look out over the village and then the sea. The bed is big and comfy, and there are CDs and Dvds to play. It's a really romantic place for us.
