There is no other place we would stay on Caye Caulker then the Leeside... postcard- picture perfect sunsets! The Leeside was by far the best deal on Caye Caulker... the air conditioning was refreshing.. even with it turned off the room remained nice and cool. The room was clean and stocked with basic needs. The internet was a nice addition to 'stay connected' for those that choose too.There were 2 bikes for each condo so you didn't have to share with your neighbors... and the kayaks!! We loved that we could go out for sunset kayak tours :) It was also nice to explore the mangroves with the kayaks. When we come back to Caye Caulker we will be staying at the Leeside again! Thank you Tracy and Kim for an unforgetable experience!!

The Leeside room lived up to it's billing. While not large, it is very comfortable and tasteful. The location is excellent because it is off of the main street, but close to everything. I was able to go almost everywhere walking, and if I wanted to tour the entire island I used the bike. Host were gracious and helpful. The dock across an unbusy street offered a great place for sunbathing, reading ,coffee or cocktails. Great to have the Dayaks available without having to rent. If you are looking for a place to kick back and unplug, this is it.

Caye Caulker Rentals was a great experience. I booked late in the season, looking for 18 consecutive days and amie made it happen even when I added one more night last last minute. From prior to my arrival all my questions were answered quickly via email and I was met by a driver at the Caye Caulker airport when I landed, all organized by amie. From there I was taken to my room at Leeside and given the do and don't. I couldn't have asked for better service. The next morning I was greeted by Tracy who went out and brought back a breakfast from a local bakery as well as a current low down of great activities/restaurants on the island. Even bouncing around from both Leeside rooms she was very accommodating, always friendly and eager to help. Much appreciated as a newcomer. Overall I found Caye Caulker rentals very friendly, helpful, outgoing and well organized. I would book through them again without a second thought and hopefully deal with the same people. As for the Leeside rooms, perfect location( best sunset on the island), even better people and above average for cleanliness.

It was quiet and had a nice dock out the door. Not good for swimming though.

We arrived by water taxi after dark on Christmas Eve and were met at the pier by our golfcart taxi driver. Checkin was quick, a ride through town gave us a quick overview of places to eat and shop. Our rooms were clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the quiet side of the island and the sunsets, but were only 3 short blocks from the sunrise. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the island, can walk or ride bikes anywhere, and wonderful choices of food. The bakery opens at 7:30a.m. with fresh cinnamon rolls. Great choices of snorkeling or scuba trips, and swam everyday. Everyone was very friendly, even the resident black cat.

I stayed at Leeside Rooms for 3 nights with my boyfriend. It was the perfect place to stay for a great deal. Not only do you get a very nice room with bathroom, fridge, safe, table, tv, fan, and air conditioning...you also get 2 kayaks and bikes! We rode the bikes everywhere around the island..it was the perfect transportation. We also took the kayaks to the split..which was very close. It was so nice to have the kayaks because you were able to see how clear the water is and you can even see fish right from the boat. The room is next to another room but you don't hear anything. Another perk...is that you have a kitty friend that hangs outside and greets you when you come home. The rental is located at the back of the island so it is pretty quite. It is also very easy to get to and we felt safe walking there at night and during the day. Caye Caulker Rentals was also a very nice company to go work with...as they set up our transportation with taxis and provided us with helpful suggestions on what to do and where to go.

This is the greatest location on the island because it's on the other side of the touristy side but is still very close to everything. Plus, the bikes are included!!! I stayed here for about a week and enjoyed the spot. The room for $70 is a bit small, but you probably won't be spending much time there anyway.

The owner lives on the top floor, so he is accessible and nice man. You can use a bike and kayak for free. Cross the street and you are in front of the water. It is just beside the dive shop very convenient if you are diving. Safe and peaceful. You can walk around or use the bike to go downtown faster.

Can do as much or as little as you want. A quiet area and felt very safe as single traveler. Not fancy resort type room but very comfortable room with refrigerator and microwave.
Everyone friendly and helpful at Leeside and Caye Caulker Rental. Will do anything they can to make your stay enjoyable. Whatever you need or want you only have to ask. Best service ever when traveling.
