This quality cabana sits side by side it's lower twin, studio cottage, located on the leeside of the caye, suitable for singles, couples or up 3 persons. (small child’s bed or single adult bed available) The location is quiet and private, with rental bikes making the short trip to the village an easy 10 minute ride. The cabana is built to North American standards, with tropical hardwood floors and are insulated against the heat, allowing it to stay cool inside thru the hottest day. Bonita's Sapphire is located on the leeside of Caye Caulker, in a residential neighbourhood, 10 nimute south of the village. Built on a large lot with it's twin and a larger home, the cabana offers the quiet of a rural neighbourhood with close proximity to all the village amenities. Rental bikes are the best way to traverse the caye and are available thru the management company.

We really enjoyed our ten days at Bonitas Saphire. The place was really nice and well built. The full kitchen was great to have as was the BBQ. We liked the location away from town and the busy main street. The property is nice and private and is good for bird watching. In the evening you can watch the sunset with a rum punch. It is only about a 3 minute bike ride from town too. Al was great as was his dog Buddy!

My partner and I spent a week in Bonita's Saphire this past march 2013. The chill vibe of the island completely sucked us in! We loved biking to and fro our cabana. I appreciated the private and quiet setting on the leeside. We bought fish and fresh produce to make a couple meals at the cabana. The view and breeze from the front porch is amazing! I would definitely come back here again.

We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing week at Bonita's in a very comfortable new cabana with a great view of the water. The cabana was spacious and well designed; the shower was excellent and so was the bed. It had a well equipped kitchen and a safe for valuables. The owners were fantastic--gratious, helpful, and accomadating. Joann even brought us home-baked cookies and surprised with a going-away gift when we left. We arranged the rental though Caye Caulker Rentals, which is a great service since they will meet you at the airport in Belize City, take you to the water taxi, and meet you in a golf cart to take you to the rental in Caye Caulker. We can't thank the owners of Bonita's enough--Al and Joann--for helping to make our stay in Caye Caulker so enjoyable and hassle-free.

We were lucky to be the first tenants of this lovely little cabin. Everything was brand new, we felt like kings. The 10 minute walk to town was perfect, and we had our own little beach view. Around sundown we'd bug-dope our legs and arms against the no-see-ums (little black biters) and sit out on the porch with a G&T; to watch the blackbirds arrive for their evening roost in a big Magnolia just offshore. (The bugs only happened at dusk.)Hundreds of birds would arrive, squawking and settling in, it was so cool. Then just at dark, the birds would go quiet, and then the fireflies would light up, here and there along the ground towards the water. We soon made this our very special happy hour routine.
The cabin has aC and the only thing I can think I would want would be a few hooks to hang clothes and towels on. We rented bikes for a few days and trucked along over every road and trail we could find, we had a great week-long stay in Caye Caulker.
