This quality cabana sits side by side it's higher twin, studio cottage, located on the leeside of the caye, suitable for singles, couples or up 3 persons. (small child’s bed or single adult bed available) The location is quiet and private, with rental bikes making the short trip to the village an easy 10 minute ride. The cabana is built to North American standards, with tropical hardwood floors and is insulated against the heat, allowing it to stay cool inside thru the hottest day. Bonita's Hibiscus is located on the leeside of Caye Caulker, in a residential neighbourhood, 10 minute south of the village. Built on a large lot with it's twin and a larger home, the cabana offers the quiet of a rural neighbourhood with close proximity to all the village amenities. Rental bikes are the best way to traverse the caye and are available thru the management company.

Nice place, well equipped kitchen, wifi did not reach cabana, and construction noise made it less than ideal for relaxing.

Very nice, very well equippled cabana; all the comforts of home at a reasonable price. The Management Company were very helpful and easy to deal with. The place was well looked after and new. A dock would make it even nicer as it's a bit of a haul to the beach on the other side of the island and there is no road along the beach on the side Bonita's is on, but you do get a beautiful beach view from the porch. The sunsets on that side are really lovely. It's a bit south of the village so it's nice and quiet but still only a short walk to town. Loved Caye Caukler itself; it's so laid back, but there is lots to do if you want to be active. Be careful cycling; people don't always watch where they are going. The food in the restaurants was really good, but there was very good variety considering it's an island for those who wish to eat at home. We bought paypayas and bananas on the beach every day. And then, there's the "cake lady"; she says everyone calls her that. She peddles around with these fabulous cakes and pies on a cart. Yummy. The split was a fun place to hang out and go swimming. The snorkeling was absolutely awesome and the diving, according to my partner, was great. All in all, I think this was the more relaxing vacation I've ever had. Highly recommended, both island and Bonita's.

I just adored my little cottage. It was in a quiet location with only the singing of the birds. Everything, except for the food, was provided in my cabin. I could cook entire meals or even bake cakes if i wanted to. It was clean, comfy bed with cable from the States. I would def stay here again.
I was there to volunteer with the humane society and locals where very nice when they learned i was there to help and not just be a beach bum -

Located on the quiet side of the island a few minutes walk or bike from downtown this location on the water offers great sunsets and peaceful evenings relaxing on the deck. Bonita's Hibicus is a new modern more than fully equiped cabana. If you are looking for a great place to get away from it all in comfort this is it. Looking forward to going back.
