Reef House is located in the rural neighbourhood south of the village about a 15 minute bike ride from the village. The beach is never far from anywhere here on the caye and Reef House offers 2 awesome decks that catch the ocean breezes and make relaxing an easy task while reclining in a deck chair or napping in a hammock.

Spent two weeks at the reef house February 2013, vacation was excellent and we really loved the Island. The house met all of our vacation requirements, the only complaint we had it did not to our cleanliness standards we are use to. Bathrooms and linen were fine, but I would be hard pressed to guess the last time the curtains and walls were last clean. Over all it is fine and we would consider renting again.

This house is amazing. Tucked away in Caye Caulker, this gem had everything me and my friends needed. Very basic, you're not going to find that everything works 100% or there's every appliance known to man- but you're on an island, what more do you need? I was very impressed with the service of the front office (located somewhere on 1st street). Very accommodating and the gentleman that helped us move in was super down to earth and funny.
Water is provided (big plus!). It's a quick bike ride away from the bars and beaches. The front desk can set you up with anything that you need- bikes, tours, where to go for food etc.
The beds are so-so comfy, definitely not your own, but for a few nights it's better than the floor. There's 2 true rooms and one loft upstairs. The bathrooms are kind of funny because the doors are "saloon" style (they swing and you can definitely hear everything). Not a big fan, but I got over it pretty quickly. Water was warm-hot. There's 2 hammocks up on the third level, which I definitely used a lot. WiFi is provided!
By the time I had to leave- it was a smooth transition (I didn't hand over the keys as my friends were still there another day). Wish I could have stayed longer!! -

Great house. As many have mentioned before, Kim will take good care of you. There are really so many positives about this place. Fairly close to 'downtown' but still remote and peaceful. The two levels of balconies is a great feature and the internal lay-out is quite special. More than enough room for the 4 of us. I could go on and on. Overall it was splended
The negatives were few and far between. The sandflies were especially bad during our stay but man, were they ever terrible. There was some mild construction going on nearby, but that was mildly annoying at worst. There is a also Rasta house nearby and while we found it to be a colourful addition to the experience Kim told us that it bothers some people who come to Reef House... so if you don't like Rastas (???) this place might not be for you.

Family of 5 plus a couple really enjoyed the house. Lovely balcony with hammock. A treat for us were the iguanas living under the house, which provided extra entertainment. We would rent it again. It was just out of town and quiet, but not a far walk to restaurants and shopping. Nice for kids.
