This home can be rented out as 1, 2, or 3 bedrooms. Owned by folks from Atlanta, Georgia, this concrete, 3 bedroom home is located in the centre of the village but off the main street. Accessed by a short lane, the house features a private yard, almond tree shaded picnic table and is quiet, in spite of being close to the action. A large outdoor patio and second floor sundeck make this home perfect for groups of friends or family. There is also a 1 bedroom, self contained studio apartment in the rear of the home that is ideal for couples or as an addition to the main house for larger groups.

Before I booked this place I looked at the other reviews, I guess I am not a generous or am used to a higher quality for something that is rated 3.5 stars. The location is very good, but the interior is run down. When we got there we washed the floors by hand because they had a sticky soap film on them and you would not want to be barefooted. The beds are not very comfortable, I expect at least that. The air conditioning units in two of the rooms are right above the head of the bed on the wall and quite noisy. The kitchen is functional, the bathrooms are very funky, this place really needs some major remodeling. The property manager was very nice, attentive and responsive.

We spent a week at the Georgia Peach over Xmas 2012. It had everything we needed and the location was close to everything (not that anything is very far on Caye Caulker). The rental could do with some pretty minor sprucing up which would take it from an average rating to a very good rating. New lampshades needed for those that were held together with clothes pins; new sink and faucet needed in one of the bathrooms; the covers on the living room furniture were filthy and either need to be replaced or given a good clean.

We had a group of 8 that all stayed comfortably in this nice house just off of Front Street. Great location on the island. Would do it again!
