Residence built in 2008, right opposite Cayeux's shingle beach, with an indoor pool and within easy reach of all the local amenities.

Accommodation and facilities

Cayeux Sur Mer, in Picardy's beautiful Baie de Somme, has a few surprises up its sleeve. Its shingle beach is lined with 460 colourful beach huts, and the bay is classed as one of the most beautiful in the world, providing inspiration for numerous painters and writers over the years.

Indeed, French novelist Victor Hugo said that once you have seen Paris and Cayeux, you have seen everything?.

Whether you choose to discover Cayeux and the surrounding area by ca...r, on foot, on horseback, or even by sea kayak, you can't fail to be impressed by its dramatic landscapes of cliffs, sea, and endless beaches, not to mention any wildlife you're likely to see along the way.

Not only that, but the area is home to a number of salt marshes, which give rise to a gastronomic peculiarity: make sure you sample the pré-salé lamb that comes ready-salted from grazing on the marshes!

Les Terraces de la Plage enjoys an exceptional location right opposite Cayeux's shingle beach, and within easy reach of all the local amenities.

The complex comprises 76 comfortable, compact 4-8 people apartments, some with sea views.

Each one comes with a fully-equipped kitchenette including electric hob, microwave grill oven, fridge, and dishwasher. The lounge has TV (supplement applies but no English channels available), and each also has a terrace or balcony with garden furniture.

Les Terrasses de la Plage also has a beautiful indoor pool (10m by 5m) with a children's area, a terrace and fitness room, a reception, lifts, a laundry room (with supplement) and outdoor parking.

The pool is closed from 10/11/2012 to 31/03/2013.

The apartment for 6 people (type BBT) is approximately 41m². Some are with disabled access.

The living room is equipped with a sofa bed or 2 stowaway beds. There is 1 bedroom with 1 double or 2 single beds, another bedroom with 1 double or 2 single beds OR 1 cabin room with 2 bunk beds. The bathroom is equipped with a bath and a separate WC. Some apartments have an extra WC. In disabled-access apartments: shower room and not separate WC.

Each apartment has a balcony or a terrace with outdoor furniture, and view over the gardens. None of these apartments have a sea view.

Free WIFI access at reception.

Some top floor apartments are in the eaves so have limited headroom in the bedrooms.
