Ocean Wave is ideally located right on the waterfront, in the historic district of Stake Bay. The property has its own private beachfront, and shaded areas with hammocks for relaxing. In addition to having excellent diving and swimming right outside your doorstep, the island’s museum, main post office, and shopping for souvenirs and groceries are all just a short walk away! There is also a stairway leading up to the top of the Bluff nearby which provides beautiful vistas overlooking the area.

  We have found Ocean Wave apartments to be a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of life - from a few days to long-term. We have stayed there twice now and we found the apartments themselves very clean and comfortable, with everything you could possibly need included - from towels, to laundry detergent, to basic seasonings. There is even a barbeque grill! And if you find you need anything else, the proprietor is always willing to get it for you. The location itself is beautiful - pristine waters for swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing and walks on the beach at sunset are just a few steps from your front door. There is a breezeway where you can set up a hammock (also provided) and enjoy the sea breeze and the sound of waves on the shore. Although there is very little traffic nearby, you are still not too far from grocery stores, post office etc, as well as from nature walks, rock climbing and cave exploration spots. This well-kept secret getaway spot is definitely worth a visit.
