New in 2007, The Laurelei Vacation Condo is a beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 bath luxury ground floor condo in the North Pointe Complex of 10 condos. The Laurelei is one of only 4 units with a back door opening to a private deck set directly on the white sand beach, and adjacent freshwater pools. This ground floor unit is fully equipped with luxury upgrades and is in immaculate condition.

After breakfast on the screened lanai, step outside and explore the natural, secluded white sand beaches that run for miles along Grand Cayman's unspoiled North Side. The Sea is a mere 20 footsteps across the sand!

Don your mask, snorkel and fins and float in shallow, crystal clear warm waters teaming with miles of untouched coral reefs that are home to thousands of colorful tropical fish and Caribbean marine life. Dive the North Wall, Cayman's Barrier Reef - just 300 feet from your doorstep. North Side's many dive sites are pristine and far away from the cruise ships and crowds at Seven Mile Beach.

Swim with the friendly Sting Rays at Sting Ray City, just a 10 minute boat ride away -- a must do! Lounge around the fresh water wading/adult pools with a cool drink, a good book or great company. Tropical Palapa and lounge chairs provided. Wonderful seaside restaurants and shopping are within a 5 minute drive. Bustling George Town and duty-free shopping are an easy 40 minute drive.

The Laurelei accommodates up to six with ease in over 1,270 square feet of luxury accommodations.

Located in the prestigious Cayman Kai community, and less than 2 miles from beautiful Rum Point Beach Park, where watersport rentals, hammocks, casual beach bar/grill, fine dining restaurant, and pier.

The Laurelei Vacation Condo is smartly furnished in custom tropical dcor, with two bedrooms, two full baths, central A/C, ceiling fans, and private deck with lounge chairs. A fully equipped kitchen includes granite counters, glass-top stove, ice-maker fridge, dishwasher, microwave, blender, smoothie machine, coffee grinder/maker, toaster, spices and more.

The dining room seats 6 with formal and informal service. The master bedroom boasts a plush King canopy bed with a beautiful view of the Sea. Its adjoining spacious tiled bath includes an oversized tub/shower and Italian granite countertops. The 2nd bedroom has sea views, as well as two plush twin beds with king bed converter, seating area and adjoining tiled full bath. Both bedrooms and the living area open directly to a screened lanai where consistent trade winds enhance your views of the aqua and cobalt Caribbean Sea. A queen sofa sleeper in living area provides for extra guests.

The Laurelei Vacation Condo offers you all the comforts of home, equipped with a flat screen TV, cable/ movie channels, DVD/VCR, IPOD Stereo dock, book and movie library. Free local telephone calls and high speed Internet, washer/dryer, luxury linens and towels. Starter soaps and paper products provided.

For entertainment and dining within a 5 minute drive, visit the Rum Point Restaurant, The Kaibo, and Over The Edge, all seaside. For romantic seaside dining, The Lighthouse and Tukka are just a 20 minute drive. Dance under the star-filled sky with your sweetie or take a moonlit walk on the beach!

For car rentals, McCurley's Tours will be happy to greet you at The Owen Roberts International Airport in Georgetown. McCurley's will pick you up, stop for groceries/liquor, and escort you in comfort to The Laurelei, where your rental car will be waiting. Weekly car rentals are $300 - $350 for a modern, 4 door sedan with A/C. The lovely Laurelei Vacation Condo is available for weekly, bi-weekly and monthly rentals.

  This was our second time staying in the north point condo complex. The first time was prior to hurricane Ivan. Our family is not into "big resorts" and the 10 condo complex is perfect.
  At times we were the only ones around the pool. Rum point was a great little adventure for a few hours each day. The north side is very windy and we were only able to snorkel out front a couple of days, but we didn't mind the drive to the other side of the island to find a calm place for snorkelling. The Laurelei was well set up for our family (4 adults and 3 children). Every meal was enjoyed in the screened in leni with the sound of the ocean in the back ground. We enjoyed having the Driftwood bar next door and our kids were thoroughly excited to watch Canada win the gold medal in men's hockey with the Caribean ocean as a back drop! If you are looking for solitude, a quiet location and the comfort of your own space, then north point condos should be your destination.
  
  When we return to Cayman, we will continue to stay on the north side.
