Anchorage, AKVery Relaxing

The view from the is unit was very beautiful, and the grounds were immaculately kept. We often drove to Rum Point, a short drive away, to see the full sunset. The pool area was very lovely, and we were in walking distance if the Kaibo Grill. The pool itself was clean and the sun deck had very plush lounge chairs. The Unit had all the amenities we needed to cook for ourselves, and the best Market to shop at was Kirks in George Town. I loved having a washer/dryer, and the rooms were comfortable and tastefully furnished. It was quiet and we were able to sleep without being disrupted by road noise or loud neighbors. We did a lot of diving, and often had to travel an hour to get to West Bay, just up from George Town to catch our boat. The lagoon out front was not a good swimming/snorkeling area as there was lots of seaweed and it was so close to the boat dock. Rum Point had good swim areas but they could get crowded. Sting Ray City just out from Rum Point was a total blast! We were close to the Blue Iguana Nature Reserve - that was enjoyable on our one cloudy day. We often packed a lunch and went up to Seven Mile beach to play in the water, and get in some good snorkeling. Coming back to the condo was so pleasant as the setting put you into an "island" frame of mind. Mornings were lovely and we often viewed large white birds looking for small fish along the shore. This was one of the more relaxing trips we have taken. The property manager was the best! Great communication, very smooth transactions. I was very impressed!

We've been to the Caymans many times, but have always stayed on 7 Mile Beach. This was our first time staying in the Cayman Kai area and we loved it! So much so, I don't think we'll stay on 7 Mile again. The Kaibo Yacht Club was a lovely condo and our unit was well furnished. Everything was very clean, and the neighbors were very friendly.
Because of its location in a bay area, the waves are minimal and it was great for our kids to be able to wade in and out and build sand castles. If you're looking for more of the "beach scene" Rum Pointe is 5 minutes up the road!
If you're planning to take advantage of the kitchen, be sure to do all of your grocery shopping in town at Foster's or at the Hurley's near Savannah. There's not much out that way in regards to grocery stores, and you won't want to make the 45 minute treck back into town.
There are great places to dine - the Kaibo Yacht Club is right next door and has great food and atmosphere - a casual dining experience - great with kids! And Rum Pointe's restaurant is amazing. Be sure to take advantage of not only the beach bar, but also the restaurant which is open for dinner.
We would stay in this unit again. The only thing missing was a drying rack for beach towels and swimming suits. All in all a lovely stay! -

We throughly enjoyed every bit of our stay. Every amenity was thought of. There was a minor problem in the bathroom which was addressed immediately. The only very minor thing, the hot tub quit working mid week. We did not call this in though. Absolutely fabulous place with a fabulous view. Enjoyed the Yacht Club restaurant. Loved very minute!

This property is a very well-appointed and relaxing place to stay. The owners have been particularly kind to us as we have had to change our plans twice because of family emergencies. It is the perfect place to get away, relax and forget your troubles.

Easy transition obtaining and returning keys thru avis. Not out of the way since we were renting a car. This is highly recommended because the island is attractive, safe, and navigable. Attractions are found in all parts from East Bay to West Bay, South Shore to North Shore, and 7 Mile. The condo was adequately equipped and located next to the Kaibo Yacht Club and Restaurant and Rum Point. The pool was nice but neither the pool or hot tub were warm. Great time and great wather made for a wonderful trip.

Columbus, OHQuiet location away from madness of 7 mile beach.
Left on 04/08/2011 for a stay in March 2011
This is a lovely condo in a lovely spot, very laid back and relaxing. Morning walks, snorkeling, nearby casual restaurants/bars, a very different experience than Georgetown/7 mile beach. Only drawback is the distance to G-town - about 45 minutes. But, there is the Mastic Trail, snorkeling on the north shore, and peace in this part of the island. The condo had everything we needed, would definitely come back.

Philadelphia, PAA beautiful spot for quiet relaxtion.

The condo was very clean, updated, and had a nice view of the inlet. The restaurant at Kaibo is very convenient as was Rum Point's eatery. Both places the food was good. The swimming at Rum Point is very nice, but not a lot of snorkeling area's. We have stayed in the Caymans several times before, always at 7 mile beach. 7 mile area has built up with resorts and shopping in the past 5-6 years, but it is still the nicest beach line I have ever walked & calmest water I have ever swam. Just wonderful. The people in the Caymans are polite and gracious. So, if
you want a quiet, out of the way place & don't mind driving, Kaibo Cai is the place to go. If you want convenience and walk the beach/swim/snorkel, I would stay on 7 mile beach. -

We had a lovely, restful vacation. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We loved being able to take walks around the area, there were beaches outside the unit, around the corner, up the street (Rum Point). A perfect location for us.
