We were a bit hesitant that the condo was not as described, that there would be a catch, etc. But it was even better than we had imagined! The condo was very clean and the views were amazing. The condo had everything we needed including a crib for our daughter and beach toys too. We enjoyed using the bikes to ride to rum point and sitting on the porch at night playing one of the many games the condo comes with. What a nice family, relaxing, quiet vacation. Typically we stay on seven mile beach, this is much different- very relaxing.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at U-Kai-Lele! It was wonderful being on the quiet side of the island--close enough to Rum Point and the activities there but overall hardly anyone around the week we were there. You will definitely want a rental car though; we drove to SMB area several times for beautiful beaches & restaurants & it's not a bad drive. The unit is nicely done & well-stocked. We did a lot of our own cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed. Enjoyed the pool, it was so refreshing. Everything went smoothly during our stay & we had no problems--met Paula at the airport to pick up our key codes & get directions & it was made very simple for us. They even arranged our rental car. Would definitely stay here again!

I loved U-Kai-Lele, it was very comfy and perfectly quiet, and in great condition and very clean. The beds were extremely comfy, the view was phenomenal, and we loved the convenience of having a kitchen stocked with condiments and spices; we saved a lot of money eating at home, which we don't always get to do on vacations. The room was very quick to cool down with the a/C, and the collection of Dvds was an unexpected treat. The pool was exquisitely maintained, and really a joy to socialize at. Overall we had a very relaxing and fun visit, and would definitely do it again.
I'd recommend this property for anyone who is either attending some kind of event or meeting friends Northside, or anyone who doesn't like the super-busy touristy capitalist vacation. If you want to relax and watch waves, swim, snorkel, and boat, this side of the island is just that. If you plan on going shopping and on little tours for your entire trip, don't stay here without a rental car, as it's very rare (and expensive) to get a cab driver who is happy to drive this far out. Oh, and if you do make the drive back and forth across the island, be sure to stop at the roadside food stand and try some very inexpensive local fruits.
