Description from the manager
Kailypso is a spacious, airy and comfortable home situated on a wide beach inside a little cove in the lovely residential area of Cayman Kai. It is within walking distance of two casual beach bars, a restaurant and a water-sports operation and 10 minutes drive from a small grocery store. The villa is about a 45 minute drive from the main town of George Town and the airport.

Brantford, ONCayman Villas
Left on 04/04/2013 for a stay in March 2013
After staying a number of years on SMB we decided this year to try another location. Wow, was it wonderful!
The quiet and privacy are not to forget! My daughter and I took long walks around the beach most days stopping in at Rum Point on the way back (well for a refreshment so to speak)!
We were 5, daughter & husband and my 8&12 yr. old grandaughters. Plenty of room for all!
The only thing I am sorry about...if I give this a grand review...I will have to book it very early for next time!

Grand CaymanA great staycation
Left on 08/09/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We wanted somewhere for a girl's weekend staycation in Cayman Kai. Kailypso was the perfect choice. The location was perfect and the dock allowed one of our girls to be dropped off by boat. The house had everything that we could have wanted and the pool area with its comfy loungers and beach with the hammock made for wonderful snooze opportunities. Sadly we were only there for a weekend but before we left we were already planning to come back.

Columbus, OHHeaven on Earth!

We rented the house sight unseen, but knowing we wanted to be on the Northeast end of the island. This was like staying at a 5 star hotel...even the towels were gorgeous! No detail was left unattended, including fresh flowers on our arrival. The pool was heaven, and the private beach and dock were sumptuous and indulgent. Felt like we were on a private island! The proximity to a great restaurant and pier was fabulous. I can't wait to come back!!!

South Sound, Grand CaymanPerfect!
Left on 06/06/2012 for a stay in May 2012
A lovely 3 bedroom house! Everything was actually even nicer than we thought it was going to be. The photos don't do it justice.
It would be nice if there was a paddleboard or kayak available but other than that it was great.
Beds were very comfortable. We actually prefered the size of the house to some of the crazy huge places next door. And we had the nice pool. -

Athens, OHAn amazing get-a-way from the busy-ness of life!
Left on 01/04/2012 for a stay in December 2011
This was our second trip to Cayman - both times we have stayed in the Rum Point/Cayman Kai area. Both times we stayed in properties managed by Cayman Villas - they are tops! Kailypso was amazing. The private beach area out the back was ideal for our two children ages 5 and 7. There was great snorkling right off the beach. Rum Point is a walkable distance - although we drove most of the time for convience. Close to Starfish Point and the Kaibu (a restaurant are that also has a beach). The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed. The pool was great and the guestbook at the condo revealed that many people came back a second time! A good indication of just how special Kailypso is.

irelandperfect retreat beside the sea
Left on 09/16/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We loved Kailypso, for it's quiet location, private beach, pool with lots of inflatable toys. n The house was perfect for us, luxurious, clean, was well stocked with basic household goods, crisp linens and was decorated like a home rather than a rental.
