My husband needed a short-term (30-day) rental while he started a new job in SLO. We'd always wanted to retire in Cayucos, so we thought this was the perfect chance to get a taste of day to day life there, and it was. The unit is located above the host's garage, but they take special pains not to disturb their guests, which was much appreciated. The place is nicely furnished, quiet and close to everything in "downtown" Cayucos. There was a lovely and generous welcome basket at check-in, and the hosts were kind to let us use the laundry facilities in the garage below.

The unit is located on top of a detached garage, as can be seen in the photograph showing the parking area, and the orientation of the main residence is away from the unit. The laundry facilities in the garage below are available solely for use by guests (hosts have own facilities in main house).

We wanted a California location where we could find privacy, excellent accommodations, ocean access and a wide selection of casual entertainments including food, wine, hiking and sightseeing. We found them all and more at the adams's Hideaway in Cayucos.
The apartment was spotless, had every imaginable essential and a delightful location. Cayucos is quirky, friendly and it and the surrounding area are classic California, beautiful and rugged with comfortable weather. The adams's were wonderfully accommodating. They offered tips for local outings that perfectly matched our interests.
We spent 32 days at the Hideaway in Cayucos and found it one of the most delightful vacations we've ever taken. Our thanks and appreciation to the adams's and our wish for readers of this communication: we hope you enjoy Cayucos as much as we did.

We recently stayed at the Cayucos beach hideaway for a week and had the most amazing vacation! The hideaway was walking distance to downtown, the beach and everything there is to do in Cayucos. Becky and Burt were super accommodating and made our week the most relaxing we have had in a long long time.
