At the very water’s edge, this cottage is a comfortable 2 bedroom cottage on the west shore of Cayuga Lake only 20 minutes to Seneca Falls and 35 minutes to Ithaca. It is conveniently located on the Cayuga Wine Trail and short drives to several state parks and a national forest. Poplar Beach is located directly across from The Amish Village shopping complex. The cottage features two bedrooms each with a queen bed. The open living and dining area provides expansive views up and down the lake and opens to a deck right at the lake front for outdoor enjoyment. There is a futon in the dining area best suitable for children or fifth guest. The... fully equipped kitchen includes: oven, stove, toaster, microwave and coffee maker as well as dishes, tableware, pots and pans. Added amenities include DSL high speed internet, satellite TV, DVD player, electric grill, dishwasher, washer and dryer, wine cooler, hairdryers in each of the two bathrooms, additional half bath at lake level, and central air. This area of Poplar Beach is level lake access, no stairs to house or lake. The cottage is perfect for week-long vacations and getaways. This is our second home, not an investment rental property. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Blankets, pillows, and comforters or spreads.

Bed linens, bath towels and kitchen towels will also be supplied.

Two kayaks and life jackets available for renters use.

Renters must bring there own beach towels and water shoes are recommended.

House is located on the West Shore of Cayuga Lake just off Route 89 about 20 minutes south of Seneca Falls and 25 minutes north of Ithaca. Many of the Cayuga vineyards are within minutes of the house. The East Shore of Seneca Lake is 15 minutes away and Watkins Glen is about 45 minutes away.
The house is on a paved road with easy access from Route 89.

Rentals are Saturday to Saturday. Check in is 3 to 4PM and check out is 10 AM.
Long weekends or shorter week may be available upon request.
There is no additional charge for linens, towels, cleaning or taxes.
If no damage is found after check out, the damage deposit will be refunded by mail within one week of check out.

Deposit: 50% of the total rental fee is due within 10 days of reserving by personal check or our PayPal account and is non-refundable.
Balance: The balance is due within 60 days prior to rental and is also non-refundable. When reserving within 60 days of rental, full payment is due within 10 days of reserving or prior to check in. Payments made for rentals commencing in less than 30 days, must be paid by cashier's check, money order or via our PayPal account.

  My wife and I spent an enjoyable long weekend at this lake house. The place was very clean and comfortable. The views were great with large windows overlooking the lake and the deck was fabulous. There are also many great
  vineyards in the area to visit. Wish we could have stayed longer, maybe next time.
