Beautiful 3BR fully furnished large vacation rental house located in Hacienda Salinas subdivision Lahug one of Cebu City’s high end subdivision. A gated community with 24hr security watch in a very secured location with nice and quite private surroundings. The place is in close proximity to shopping district area such as Ayala, SM mall & JY square, restaurants, nightlife, Waterfront casino, Mactan airport, hospitals, police, universities, discotheque, IT park, churches, outdoor recreation, beaches, and more.... the location in the center of Cebu's trade and industry, everywhere you go it only takes about 10-15minutes of travel time. Very well presented accommodation, with all amenities. Only a short taxi ride to the main SM mall and ayala Centre, quickly arranged by the telephoning the security gate. Have already booked another stay

The place is very near the center, very secure with dedicated security manpower to check all guest. Spacious rooms, AC on the living on the room which is a plus. Huge master bed room. Clean, organized and furnished.
Would definitely book again.

Me and my wife stayed in this house Feb 3, 2012 until March 28,2012 and we couldn't have ask for eanything better. It was so great being on vacation and able to cook your own food. We like the house so much we are planning on staying there next time 3 to 6 months.

Very nice house situated in a closed community with security. Great for a quiet getaway or to be able to meet and greet friends and family. The house is exactly as stated on the web site if not better. Owner is very friendly, in general I would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting more room to move and a getaway from resorts. Kitchen is a fully functional western set up.

Great vacation stop, the drive up salinious drive is unforgetable to say the least, narrow, twisty and bumpy. A vacation experience all it's own. The house it's self is great, nicely decorated, with great wifi, and cable downstairs. Great 2nd floor patio,with lovely view of the mountians alas, no chairs, or table to enjoy the view with.No cable upstairs so better speak the language or watch TV down stairs.The one thing I really missed at this place was a half dozen man sized coffee mugs and the same number of large plastic tumblers for that big glass of ice tea. Those dainty tea cups R not for me!! A taxie is a quick call to the guard at the gate and the washing machine was very handy.If your looking for a nice home at a great price, this is the place.

thank you for the positive information you provided, as we speak , big coffee mugs and ice tea tumblers have been added to our kitchen utensils... cable for our television upstairs still on the works but will be available in several months from globe. we are still trying to set up the large patio/terrace we have upstairs, a work in progess - when you come back next year you will have all that available..... the twisty, bumpy stretch of salinas Ext. Dr. i hope will be fix sometime this year, that was a promise made by our Barranggay Capt. last year, will see!

At the risk of encouraging people to stay here, making future bookings crowded... (I will be rebooking if availability permits!)
I must report honestly that our stay was comfortable and cosy. Most assuring fact was that the owner is responsive to all communications, any issues or queries were promptly and fully addressed.
Having the space, freedom and privacy made our stay exceed what could have been offered by a hotel.
We felt safe at the property, being located in a guarded, gated community.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

Very nice home. Everything worked great. No problems except that the cover for the gas stove exploded while cooking... not sure what happened exactly. I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in Cebu.

****To all my future guests please be informed, the vacation rental house is using the Philippine type of “La Germania” stove oven that has a fancy decorative glass cooktop cover…. when using the oven for baking food/cookies/cake kindly please open the cooktop glass cover to prevent injury, what happened was the oven temp rises up to the cooktop making it warm, this may lead to shattering/explosion of the glass cover… after all, SAFETY is our numberO uno(1) priority!!!! Dear guests, please, accept my most sincerest apology…… Luisa

If there's one thing I regret, we should have stayed longer. House is of close proximity to anything. We are a family of 5 adults, 1 child & 1 infant who stayed just last week. It's really like staying on our home but relocated in Cebu! :) The owner was very accommodating too as well as the caretakers ate Janet, Ate Judith & Nang Telly. Though we have rented a van, there's no problem of getting a taxi from the subdivision. You just call the guard's house & ask for a taxi to pick you up. My husband left at 10PM one evening to visit his friend's bar and the taxi was there waiting outside the house in just 5 mins.
The vacation house is right in Lahug, close to Taoist temple. There a small market that you can walk from the house, a mall with Mc Donalds, coffee shop, computer shop & many more.
It is rather hot at Cebu when we arrived. Good thing all of the 3 rooms as well as the Sala/Living Room has air-conditioning. On top of all this, we were able to cook & eat the food we want!
Btw, it's close to ayala Mall too. For those who want to have a taste of Cebu cuisines, dine out at Double a (all over Cebu, Mandaue & Mactan) & Sutukil (Mactan). Buy your pasalubong like dried pusit, danggit, dried mango, otap (masterline tastes better than shamrock) & carcar chicharon at Taboan.

We loved the place. rented it for a month stayed there for 3 weeks. New house actually. Really appreciated being able to do some cooking there , very nice kitchen. all was comfortably furnished. the transformer for 110 was usefull for the laptop daily. Would recommend the house to anyone! A very quiet subdivision, peacefull ! the extension access to the main avenue is slightly misleading on a map, the entry to the extension is stepped over one block, by the JY Square, a short narrow twisty route which merges to the ext. usually with 2 way traffic one steps aside and waits for oncoming to clear, drivers take turns at this. it is full of bumps and holes so thread the needle to drive it. and drive slower to accomodate the pedal trike traffic. the route condition of it would be understandable to a local, slightly baffling to a foreigner, at first. well worth any slight inconvenience when you arrive at the subdivision and Louisa's house. All worth it.!!
