The Casale il Paddock is a 3 bedrooms large house into an advanced horse riding farm of about 170 acres. The farm is located on low hills 200 mt. above sea level and 12 km from the Tyrrhenian Sea, and in Pisa district, in the surroundings of Cecina,at few kilometers from the Tyrrhenian Highway A12. The property is in a good location to discovery many regions of Tuscany: Pisa with its airport and Livorno are only at about 30 min drive away, the same distance is for many small and interesting towns as Volterra or Casciana with the thermal baths, Lucca is at 1hour an...d Florence or Siena at 1h and 30 min. If you prefer the coast in 30 min you can reach the beautiful beaches of Castiglioncello or Northern part of Maremma or you can plan a daily trip to Portofino and Cinqueterre.
The Casale il Paddock insists on a 85 hectares of land of which 35 are permanently maintained as grass-land (meadow) and exclusively reserved for the studmare pasture. The farm exposure is to the south and is protected by its hills from the occasional northern wind consequently the whole place benefits of a mild climate even in the coldest months during the year.
All the house is provided by sought furnishings in a cosy ambiance warmed by the fireplace and the ceiling vaults. The furnishings are a right mix of contemporary elements and antiques, side by side with a refined taste.
The access to the Casale il Paddock is by an electric gate with remote control. There you’ll enter in a 5 acres garden, but you can walk into the property along the many paths all around. In the garden just next to the kitchen takes place a veranda with a patio (about 30 sq.m.). A new infinity salted pool (12 m. x 6 m.) is just built in January 2012.Next to the pool there is a suggestive turkish bathroom for 6 people with sauna, shower and wc room.The apartment with its typical wall stone and the sloping roofs is composed by 2 floors (each of 300 sq.m.) and 3 units. The second floor and the smaller in the back of the first floor are reserved to the villa staff and the manager of the Farm. The 260 sq.m. apartment has many access directly form the three bedrooms, from the living and from the kitchen. The main access is on a largest living room (mt 15,15x 5,80) with an attractive cross vault ceiling as the most part of the house. The living room is furnished with an impressive and working fire place next to a table for 6 people, a biliardo corner (that could be set up as a large table for 12 people) 2 large leather sofa. The living is equipped with TV SAT, internet wifi, hifi with cd and dvd player. The living give you access to a wine cellar down stairs to keep the wines at the right temperature in every moment of the year. Next to the living room there is a cosy study (about 13,5 sq.m.) with a teak library and desk. The living rooms has 3 accesses: to a patio, on the pool and on the garden. Next to the living there is the elegantly furnished kitchen (3,70 m. x 3,70 m.) well equipped with: a modern pyroceram 6 rings stove, grill, oven, microwave oven, dishwasher. The kitchen give access to the living and to a Patio where is ready a table for “al fresco” dinner!
This large house has 3 bedrooms: 1st bedroom (20 sq.m.), double bed with ensuite bathrooms with a nice shower in the stone, view and access on the garden; 2nd bedroom (39 sq.m.) is the masterbedroom, double bed with arches and 4 sail vaults dating back to the 16th century, view and direct access on the pool area, ensuite bathroom with shower; 3rd bedroom (24 sq.m.), a double bed with access on the Pergola, ceiling vault, ensuite bathroom with shower and bath tub.
