All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

My partner celebrated his 60th birthday in February. As we total 7 adults with the children, 2 son-in-laws & 2 dogs, I started to research last July a luxury cottage on anglesey to accommodate all of us. I found Sykes Cottages on the Internet & booked Ty Lawr at Cemaes Bay. What a delight! The accommodation was ample for all the family. The open plan ground floor with a contemporary kitchen/dining area & lounge with under floor heating in the kitchen was perfect for all of us to eat, chat & relax. The ambience of the bedrooms was enhanced by the contemporary en-suites with under floor heating & the Juliet balconies to the 2 front bedrooms. The view over the harbour was delightful. Parking for our 4 cars was more than adequate. There are several pleasant walks along the coastal path & beaches within close proximity.

We arrived to celebrate two special birthdays in our group on Friday 1st March with everyone delighted with the cottage and its location. However, by Saturday we found that the Calor gas supply had run out which meant that we had no hot water and shower facilities in one bedroom, no cooking facilities on the hob and no heating. On contacting the agents/owner? they were apologetic offering alternative accommodation or a full refund saying we would have gas by Tuesday. We decided to stick it out as the other cottage was not where we wanted to be. By Thursday morning gas had not arrived we had had to eat out more than we had planned for so we decided to return home. seemingly gas did arrive sometime on Thursday but no one turned it on! By then we were back home feeling somewhat disgruntled. We were very unhappy about the attitude of the agents/owners! Smoke alarm over active, none of the sinks in bedrooms hold water. Lack of extra bedding and mattress covers.

Fantastically well appointed accommodation right by the harbour side in Cemaes Bay, Anglesey. Grand-parents, son & girlfriend, daughter, son in law and grandchild enjoyed a relaxing chilled week-end enjoying wonderful views over the harbour, beach and sea. The whole property is fitted to a very high standard with just about everything you could want. Wonderful chip shop within minutes walk, pub with food, hotel with restaurant - everything you could need. Lots to do on the island with excting rib ride in the Menai Straits, Sea Zoo, Rsbp South Stack Lighthouse and loads more. Plus a Waitrose supermarket at Menai Bridge. Didn't want to go home!
