A charming waterfront cottage on Squam Lake. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the lake from this rustic home. Comfortable and cozy with all the necessities. A three bedroom cottage; one bedroom with 1 full bed, one bedroom with 2 twin bunks and 1 full bed, and third bedroom with 2 twins. There is also a full sleep sofa in the living room. Great yard with natural shoreline and easy access into the water from the dock. There is a sandy association beach one mile away. A great spot for a quiet retreat.

Keene, NHGood, but place needs maintenance and cleaning

Place needs a good "spring cleaning', not just 'broom clean'. Hot water not working, but instructions to turn on circuit breaker hard to find on board - needs to be conspicuous over the sink.
General maintenance appears nil. Timber walls rotten, or falling down at beach. -

This property is on a quiet narrow part of Squam Lake and was perfect for a family vacation. The house kitchen is well stocked, the lake is easy to enter, and the water was warm given the shallow bay and the warm weather.
The only thing lacking was access to a boat or canoe. -

We spent a very relaxing week here. The facilities and mechanics around the
home were excellent with plenty of stretching room inside and a large deck
facing the water. The location gave a nice entrance to Squam Lake and the
"hot" islands were just a short distance away by kayak. The water level was
quite low and entrance to the water with the kayaks was by the short set of
steps. There were no neighbors around at all and the entire neighborhood was
very peaceful all week. It is located a short distance from Center Harbor for
whatever food supplies one might need.
Very nice.
